2018 High School Slam Dunk and 3 point Championships (Lexy Lake of Mercer County)

Congratulations to Lexy Lake of Mercer County on making the final of the 3 point shooting contest and finishing 2nd, and representing Kentucky well.:thumb:

Future Maryland Terrapin Taylor Mikesell put on a show Tuesday en route to winning the eighth annual American Family Insurance High School Girls 3-Point Championship from Wagner High in San Antonio.

Mikesell, the No. 32 ranked girls player according to ESPN out of Jackson (Massillon, Ohio), scored a total of 65 points out of a possible 90 in three rounds. She defeated Mercer County’s (Ky.) Lexy Lake in the final by a score of 23-16.

Mykasa Robinson from Ashland also competed but I'm not sure where she finished.

There was a girls slam dunk competition too?

Any word on how the KY gals fared?

Taylor Mikesell will be on the Ohio squad competing in the Ohio-Kentucky all star game April 7th at Thomas More. Lake is not on the Kentucky roster but teammates Robins,Souder and Davis are.

There was just a 3 point competition for the girls.
