This evenings tilt on the Breds home field was a battle of who was going to outshine the other. The NewCath battery combo of So. pitcher Haley Meyers and Sr. catcher Kristen Schreiber were in a competition "so to speak" for Player of the Game status.

Schreiber does her best for the honor by smashing two fence clearing "no doubters", a 1st inning solo job to left and a 4th inning 2-run "moon-shot" to right-center. However, the So. pitcher says, na baby na, as she leads off the 5th with her 1st career fence clearing homerun, a "towering" blast that was a "no doubter" the moment it left the bat. However, to top the game off, Meyers strikeout 13 in route to the 7-inning No-Hitter, her 4th NO-NO of the year.

Holmes 4th - BB (steals 2nd, to 3rd on PB), K, K, runner on 3rd gets to greedy of a lead and is putout 2-5-2-5-1.

NewCath 4th - Bin triples to right (scores on a PB), PO-3, Potts walks, Ware doubles to right-center (Potts to 3rd), Kohls SAC-FLY (Potts scores), Schreiber 2-run HR, PO-4.
