Colonels_Wear_Blue
Jared Hicks will be coming back as a junior QB after playing backup to Cooper Gullion last season. Christian Webster will be the big man in the backfield for his senior season. Receivers Tate Niederman and Ayden Camp will also be returning as seniors. Senior linebackers Andrew Davis and Zane Cahill will be leading the defense along with senior defensive back Tate Niederman. Senior David Seal is one of the of the returning O-linemen, and Zane Cahill will Michael Neal are both promising juniors on the OL/DL as well as junior TE/DE Noah Benza. With a green quarterback and a fair number of positions to fill in, Conner is going to be fighting to put together a consistent and unified team this season. They struggled for consistency quite a bit last season.
ColonelPops
“Green” might be a bit of an exaggeration. Hicks played varsity QB some last season. They now need to replace him in his all-purpose role from 2017.

But he only spent maybe 10% of the time behind center that Gullion did. Some varsity playing time definitely beats none though, no doubt.
Fear the Nation
Just watched some of the hudl film from yesterdays 7 on 7. Conner has some athletic receivers who were able to get open enough to be productive. Only real issue was they had the drops all day. If they can clean up catching the ball they may have a very productive pass offense. Qb was not bad at all, lacks some zip at times, was short on a few longer throws but good touch and ball placement on the short to intermediate stuff. The defense wanted the ball, they were not satisfied just covering the man. I was impressed with their effort and fire. You can tell these guys want to win. Good to see.
