Rebels looked great tonight hopefully they can continue to play with this much intensity next week. Last time Henry Clay came we looked the flatest we looked all season!

Henry Clay comes to Florence to battle Boone Co. again this week they just made the trip 3 weeks ago.

Their football team didn't seem to have the numbers of a 6A school.....

This stuff is so confusing to me lol!

Boone plays Henry Clay again next week... The game was out of hand within the first 4 minutes. Boone got the ball first drove for a TD. On the kickoff Dunbar fumbled, Boone scored about 5 plays later. Then PD first offensive play was an INT for a TD. Blocked extra point made it 20-0 with 8:43 left in the first quarter. As for Quainoo He had 18 rushes for 144 and Oppenheimer had 18 for 116. I will say i was very impressed with #21 from PD. But from what i seen PD their were a lot of personal fouls and unsportsmanlike penalties which makes me think their lack of coaching might be the problem. PD also had a 100+ interception touchdown brought back for a holding call and also another TD pass called back due to a holding call.

Would have nailed Boone Co. game too but put in all their young kids that gave up 15 points.

Dang, if Ryle would have beat Henry clay NKY 6A would have swept LEX 6A.

Is there any word on Alford is he indeed out for the playoffs too? If so is Walsh ok?

I don't think it matters who is RB for Boone tonight.

Looks like it will be rainy tonight..... which reminds me of my first ever Boone Co. football game back in 1997 when Boone beat Dunbar on a rainy night in Florence. The field was a mess it was muddy as all heck.

I agree they will be challenged. They aren't going to walk their way to the finals like some people think they are going too.

I have noticed it as well.... Heck when I went to Boone we always had a huge student cheering section this year they are like non existent. I don't get it. Glad to know its not only at Boone that its happening at.

Both teams did play hard.... But i just felt Boone came out flat.... It was bye far the worst Boone has played this season!
