  1. I have changed my mind, MC will score a late TD to make it 40 zip. Bell will over look the Raiders and the Raiders will over-come their insecurities and completely dominate every aspect of this game:D. The Raiders are coming to cut timber on Log Mountain!:ylsuper:
  2. Looks like I have been called out! McCreary by 32 running away with it! OMG, now lets here the sceams of insanity from the Bell nation!:ylsuper:
  3. The injury was not even as close to as bad as first thought to be. Luckily no artery was cut and there was no nerve or tendon damage which is what was thought and why they flew him to UT Medical Center. He is scheduled to get his stitches out this Friday and he has already started some physical theropy exercises. He says he will be ready to play in the playoff game against Boyd Co. but the coaches say they are preparing a game plan to play with him still on the sidelines because they want Aaron to focus on getting 100% healthy. One of the coaches told me that it's just football and Watts has a lot of time to play football next year right now he just needs to listen to his doctors and get healthy!:ylsuper:
  4. Word is Watts is at school today which is a good sign for his quick return to action. Wheather it is the gridiron or hardwood we will be glad to see him back in action.:ylsuper:
  5. It happened last night! Also, i just heard he is out of surgery and will not have to do any reconstruction. He still will probably have to have some skin graphs which may take a couple months to complete and then rehab! With any luck he won't have to have the skin graphs either or maybe just one and that will speed his recovery up. Keep praying because it is some powerfull stuff!
  6. He was playing basketball at a local gym and after dunking a ball his momentum took him into a glass door which broke and cut his upper arm very deep and took a huge chunk from his forearm. It was so bad they air-lifted him to UT Medical Center. Right now it looks like he will be out maybe the rest of the school year as far as sports go. The biggest thing is it is not life threatening and he will play sports again. Aaron is a fine young man and we all hate to see this kind of thing happen to him or any other athlete. Please pray for his speady recovery because we all know the Lord works in powerfull ways!
  7. I just heard from a family member that Watts had some really bad muscle damage in his arm and will also probably have to have some skin graphs done to his arm which means he will be out for 5-7 months. We all will be praying for a much quicker recovery for this young man.
  8. I think you better be worried about Lincoln Co. McCreary County can take care of themselves. Good job Jv you played very well and keep up the good work!:ylsuper:
  9. Yea, the turnovers hurt a lot, without them I think the Raiders would have scored atleast 3 times. I hope everyone that was there agrees that this was a good ball game and very closely played. I have always enjoyed talking with the Pulaski Fans they are down to earth football people. The coaches told me that they had 29 jv players dressed and everyone got quality playing time. I say good job to the jv coaches and keep working hard young Raiders.:ylsuper:
  10. Hey HouseofPain, word around the county is Watts was taken to the hospital tonight, can you tell us what is up?
  11. :thumb: I apologize, I really am sorry I am trying to better! Go game to both teams!:ylsuper:
  12. I agree the Jackets out played the Eagles and Lawson is a great back (transfere from Whitley Co) and he runs behind a line with Garrett Phillips and Tyler Rollins two great lineman (transferes from McCreary Co.) I just wonder how well the Jackets would be doing without players from other schools. Just something that ran through my mind while reading this post.:ylsuper:
  13. The white hat for tonights game is terrible. I have known him for manny years and he is one of the worst refs inKY (probably in the world). He has biasis and acts on them which is very unprofessional. He does have a cople of good refs in his crew and if I were them I would find another crew. I was at this game from the start and sat on the W-burg sideline and they even knew they got a couple of huge breaks on some questionable calls. However, I think W-burg played better tonight and deserved the win but it should have been 44-38 and everyone who was at this game knows it! Good game to both teams!:ylsuper:
  14. Go touch an electric fence, I bet that will shock you!:ylsuper:
  15. Actually he was hit by his own player as they team tackled a Rock running back.
  16. Hey HouseofPain, I switched shifts with a guy at work so I could go to the game. I was dissapointed a little with the out-come but I thought you guys looked pretty good at times. After the 1st quarter it was just 15-8. Seems like you guys had some difficulties in the 2nd quarter, Rock scored 3 times in this quarter. However, you held them to just one score in the 2nd half, their varsity scored on their 1st drive of the 2nd half and that was it. In the 4th quarter Rock started putting in their Jvs and your Jv's kept theirs out of the endzone and that was a positive thing. Also, it seemed to me that Rock had to work hard for everything they got offensively, the defense is looking better keep working them hard. However, the offense had a hard time with Rocks quickness and didn't keep the ball long enough on several possessions (3 and out). Remember, the best way to keep the other team from scoring is to keep the ball out of there hands. Anyway, I think the Raiders played a descent game and I think the game was a little better than the score shows. I do want to give the Rock their credit they played a great game and did what a team is suppose to do to win. I also talked to a couple of Rockcastle fans and they were very polite and seemed impressed at the improvement of play of the McCreary team. Rockastle has shown to be gracious guests and their program (players, coaches and fans) are a class act and I wish them luck the rest of the season. House, let me know how Roark is will he be ready for next week? I sure hope so, you could see a real difference when he went out of the game! Good job Raiders keep working hard. Also, sorry I have been long winded but it gets real boreing at work sometimes. Go Raiders :ylsuper:
  17. I don't know if anyone has metioned them but Madison Southern is probably the best team in KY without a win! They are wvery athletic and they are aggressive. They have 2 very quick backs and I am sure they won't stay O-for much longer!:ylsuper:
  18. That's because anyway you look at it you are only 50% right on each call.
  19. You can be honest in a positive way and in return not be hurtful to the kids who play this great sport across KY! That is just a cop-out Magnum P.I.:ylsuper:
  20. I don't think most people on here will disagree with your statement but that is not what we are talking about. There is nothing wrong with winning or being from a winning program and being proud of that fact. All people are saying is don't brow-beat a program because they are not as successfull as yours. Those kids deserve your respect as much as your own programs kids do. I know of kids who quit playing football just because of the negativity that surrounded the high school program. Bashing a program hurts the kids and there is no way you can look at it and make it an ok thing to do. So everyone needs to think about the kids you hurt when you bash a program!:ylsuper:
  21. :thumb: You are a class act my friend. I feel the same way about my son. I can remember crying after a game when I was 10 years old and my dad asked me if I played as hard as I could for the entire game. I said yes and he said "then son, you have nothing to be sad about, you should be proud of yourself". Thanks dad, I love you!
  22. My family will be praying for him and his family!
