  1. I agree, the local big schools have always been receptive to scheduling McCreary. Better than that they have always liked us so well they invite us to their homecoming.....they are such good friends!LOL!:dancingpa
  2. Ready on the set......................Action! man this is a great football movie.................................oh wait.....................or is this a real game that I am suppose to officiate?:ylsuper:
  3. You think? Can you tell me what years? Oh, it is McCreary and NO! Anyway, Jenkins will be ready for Williamsburg. The interesting thing to see is if Williamsburg, will play to their calabur or will they play to the competition, I am curious to see that! I in no way was casting stones at Jelico or Jenkins both schools are like McCreary in that they have a continuous strugle keeping their teams competitive and W-burg only schedules MC when they think they have better than 50% chance of winning. I say this because I personally heard a W-coach once say they would rather get beat 100 points by Corbin than lose to McCreary by 1. Anyway, I was just saying!:ylsuper:

  5. I think this is what they are saying the official was not doing! i don't think anyone wants the officials to tell the players where to line up. But they do need to respond when a player says "I am on" to let them know they are ok. I think they were saying that this ref would not respond and then he would throw a flag. That definately makes no since for an official to do that!IMHO
  6. Imagine, W-burg wanting to play Jelico and Jemkins but not wanting to play McCreary.
  7. Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, I am going to punt this football over that tree!
  8. You can put football on the bottom of that list it would even be below the chess team if McCreary had a chess team!:walk:
  9. It would be nice if they got serious about the football program as well. The worst stadium in the state by far. The kids deserve better! Mine included!
  10. That's funny, there is nothing going around here saying that. Gay's 1st season was 5-5, his 2nd season he led the Raiders to the playoffs for the 1st time in the schools history and they are 2-1 right know with a very good possibility of being 5-5 or 6-4 and having a repeat appearence in the playoffs. Seems like it would be hard to get rid of a coach when he has improved the program like that. Unless you have heard of him saying he is leaving? McCreary central dosen't seem like the kind who fires coaches. what I mean is the B-ball program has been picked to win the district 2 years in a row and has been ranked as high as 2nd in the region only to be put out of the tournament the 1st game both years and if I am not mistaken their head basketball coach is still the same. Factoring in all of that plus MC's history of keeping coaches seems like Coach Gay should be receiving high praise for his accompishments with the football team! Unless you have some information for us SSF?:ylsuper:
  11. I think the R.Brown is a great athlete and I am sure MC will be focused on shutting him down or may I say slowing him down. Word is he had 3 big runs for TD's against Harrison Co to keep it close and other than that Harrison Co dominated the game. He is for MS what Watts is for MC. It should be an interesting match-up. Oh, you are right blood should stick to blood and I commend you for that:thumb:. I in return will be pulling for the McCreary, Go Raiders!:ylsuper:
  12. My prediction for this game is McCreary will win 28-12. I think McCreary has more offensive weapons and has been putting points of the board and Madison So. has been struggling a little offensively gettin it into the endzone. I do however think Madison So. gets their first offensive score of the season X 2 and they may even get a third one in. I do think it will be a fun game to watch and it will be a close game. There is no doubt that both of these teams will come out firering on all cylinders because a playoff birth is on the line. Good luck to both squads I hope and pray for an injury free ball game. I will be rooting for the Raiders!:ylsuper:
  13. I was just thinking last night what these two could do if they played on the same team behind one of the best lines in 4-A like Bell Co. They would be unstopable.
  14. I will go ahead and get this one started since I have 45 min. or so before I head to work (man this swing shift is killing me). This game will probably decide who gets the 4th spot in the playoff picture just like last year. I will chime in later for my prediction. So, for now lets here what you guys have to say!:ylsuper:
  15. After seeing KC up close and in person I can tell you they are the real deal. I can see why Bell only beat them by 3 TD's. You can't just stop one part of their "O" because they are 3 dementional if you know what I mean. They come at you from every angle and their "D" is swarming and they hit hard. I have not seen Rockastle in person yet but I know they are strong and quick and "The Rock" will always hit you! So, my prediction is a hard hitting game that will be decided by 7 or less but I can't say who will be on top when the dust clears!:ylsuper:
  16. How far up are you talking? I don't get around the school system people much except for the FB coaches during FB season but their might be a few things flying around the rumor mill at the old barber shop! If you have any specific questions I will try to answer them or find the answer for them. If you don't want to ask them on the forum Dreamland then you can private message me!:ylsuper:
  17. McCreary started subing halfway through the 3rd quarter and KC didn't put their subs in until the 4th quarter. McCreary made the decision not to let Watts play the 2nd half to make sure he didn't do further damage to his injury. They took Roark out after the 1st offensive series and then started replacing each of the starters one by one after that. The 3rd string quarterback played most of the 4th quarter. The head coach told me that KC was in control of the game at that point and he made the decision not to take a chance on any more injuries to his starters because the Madison So. game was very important to the playoff picture. Everyone is allowed to have their opinion but the first half of this game proves yours to be wrong. MC had a hard time with the 2 great backs from KC but they made them work for everything they got and you take away the INT for a TD and if MC scored when they drove it inside the 10 yard line then the score at half would have been 14-14. So to say KC could have scored 100 on MC is way out their IMO. Anyway, KC earned the victory and they definately owned the night and I wish them luck the rest of the year. However, I do hope Madison Southern thinks just like you do because that will be to MC's favor.:ylsuper:
  18. McCreary will beat Bell by 10 touchdowns! Everyone knows Bell is at the top of the 4-A mountain and MC is just trying to climb the hill. I can guarantee that MC will come to play but that is the attitude that helps a team get better week in and week out as well as making gains from one year to the next. If everyone out there thinks that KC is a 48 point better team than MC then that will be to MC's favor. KC is very good and definately was abetter team Friday night and they definately won by 48 points and I would even say they would probably win aginst MC this year in any situation. But, I will again say: if anyone thinks that KC is a 48 point better team than MC that will play out to MC's favor!
  19. First half was a good hard hitting half. It was 20-6 at half a 14 point spread just like last year. KC had a INT for a TD in the 1st half and MC was inside the 10yard line and turned it over on downs so it was even a little closer played half than the score indicated. KC has a very good team and I make no excuses for MC they were just out played for 48 min. As for Watts, I talked to the head coach after the game and he said that Watts aggravated an old injury on a defensive hit and it was his (the coaches) decision to sit Watts the 2nd half because he didn't want him to injure it furthur. He should be ready to play next week! Good luck to both of these teams the rest of the season.
  20. I know that Knox Central is heavily favored and rightfully so, they are a very good football team. I am not making a prediction. I am only hoping it is as tight of a game as last years game was after 3 1/2 quarters. When you are a program trying to build, part of the growing process is playing good teams and beeing in a position to win in the 3rd quarter. MC did that last year being down 12 -6 with 10 min left in the game and MC had the ball. Don't ask me what happened after that because all I can come-up with is everyone had a "brainfart" at the same time. No matter what, if the game is as good as last years it will be a fun one to watch! Good luck Raiders!
