Wow, what happened to Clay's pitching??

Who is Clay's best pitcher and are they in better shape pitching-wise than last year? Also, what position is Zach Lewis playing?

Shannon Hoskins and Robert Marcum from Clay Co. in '92. Mark Smith was not the SG as someone earlier posted. Mark was more of a "3", not a 2. Shannon signed with S. Carolina, then went on to Georgetown for a solid career. Robert signed with Alice Lloyd and if I'm not mistaken, he's their all-time leading scorer.

Yes, Clay beat them by 22 at Harlan Co.

Heck, didn't lose many away from home from 84-93 either. Maybe 15-20 away from home over those 10 yrs.

Nothing wrong with scouting a team a lot. I'll be you Todd Messer had a great scouting report on South Laurel. Glad to see he and his team get a big win.

Let me guess... Billy Gillespie will take over at Clay Co. and Bobby Keith will take over at Kentucky... just a guess!

I wouldn't call Russ Chadwell from Clay Co. underrated. With some posts about the Beach Ball Classic on here, I wish there was some video available from the '88 Beach Ball Classic dunk contest in which Chadwell came in a close runner-up to Everick Sullivan who went on to star at Louisville. For 5'11", he put on a show. Russ could "fly". I'm sure most of the people in attendance at the Beach Ball that year were shocked to say the least. I would call Kevin Jackson underrated for Clay Co. on the 87-88 team. Very quick, good jumper and rebounder.
