Elliott County's got T. Knipp, C. Nichols in the soph. class who are doing well now, but I also believe that J. Ison (also a soph) will be factor as he gains experience and confidence in the next year or two.

Thanks for posting this but . . . as many have said before . . . rankings are subjective. Personally I wait to see who makes it to Rupp and who leaves early.

I have seen the Faulkners talking to the refs on many occasions as a way to DISCUSS a particular call. They have done it respectfully and utilize this opportunity to learn from the experience in order to perfect their game/defense. But just because they are having a conversation with an official doesn't mean that they are attempting to influence him and they most certainly are not utilizing foul language. I don't know any of the officials personally, but with my observations over these many years I can honestly say that if any of them heard a player use profanity that individual would be penalized (technical) IMMEDIATELY. I realize that everyone is supporting their own child/team, but attacking another child/children so publicly, personally and maliciously in an effort to destroy public opinion about these fine young men is not the way to conduct yourself.

On Monday (1/19), Bath County takes on the winner of the Rose Hill/Raceland games (Girls at 6:00, Boys at 7:30).

I was at the game (just got home) and I can tell you that I never heard any foul language being used. I've been with most of these boys for 7-8 years and have gotten pretty good at reading lips and expressions too and I didn't see any inappropriate comments this evening either. These guys have always behaved in a sportsman like manner. There are always a few calls that are guestioned (as their always are on both sides of the court) but these Elliott boys maintained their composure and went on with the game. I remember one instance in particular where C. Knipp got called for 2 fouls in about a minute but he just smiled, clapped and went on with the game. That being said . . . CONGRATS ELLIOTT!!
