Now that I've cooled off a little bit . . . here are my thoughts on the game! Elliott started out slow in the 1st quarter, but regained control of the ball and court in the 2nd. By the time it was ready to start the 3rd the game was definately Elliott's to win or lose. By the 4th quarter it was done. Mason and Elliott both utilized their bench and the tide really started turning when soph J. Ison came in to relieve T. Knipp. Ison really made a name for himself tonight when he got under the basket for the rebounds! I've said it before (and I'll say it again) . . . Ison will be a very strong player for Elliott in the next two years. With his height and size, he's the man to have under the basket to capture those defensive rebounds and those offensive touch-ins.:ylsuper:

And it HAD to be 200 degrees in there OR it was all the heat radiating from the Elliott County Lions because they were hot . . . Hot . . . HOT!!!!!!

You just can't stand to give Elliott the respect they're due! :idunno:

CONGRATS ELLIOTT!!! We're PROUD OF YOU!!! Now that you've beaten the #6 team in the state . . . you're back in the top 5 teams in the state. Teams undergo good years and rebuilding years, that's just the nature of middle school and high school basketball. But having the opportunity for teams to play others that are at least perceived to be loaded only assists teams in advancing up the learning curve. I have to disagree with your comment that it's too late in the season to reschedule games, because every game played can be a learning opportunity for both teams. Elliott utilized the open date to schedule a game with another top team in the state to prepare them for the intensity and talent they will hopefully encounter in the coming month.

Or in a teenagers quest for the latest/greatest phone available!! :isurrender:

The flexible things are really cool . . . it would sure save me alot of $$$ as my dd has a tendancy to drop her phone and breaking it! I'm starting to think she does it intentionally to get a new one!!
