16+2=18 . . . would then be rounded to 20!! I don't think my "guestimation" was too far off the mark. And being saved for "all" schools officials . . . I guess you can cut the number drastically because the Elliott County school officials/families would rather sit with the fans instead of receiving special treatment. I don't remember this practice ever having been utilized in any of the past 3 years when the other schools were hosting the tournament either.

Elliott County fans are a very respectful group of individuals and have no problem whatsoever honoring the lifetime reserved seating for this individual but the reserving of the 20-30 seats around this 1-2 seats should be in direct violation of the courtesy/honor extended to ALL the schools who participate in the district tournaments. As the "host" school, courtesies above and beyond the normal and routine ones should be extended to any visiting team. The host school assigns the sides of they gym (without consideration to "home" or "visitor" status) and if they wish to reserve specific seating for individuals, can do so on their side of the gymnasium. These actions and behaviors should be corrected by the AD's involved across the district.

We like the North Myrtle Beach area and have stayed at Wyham Ocean Blvd several times. Its a short walk to Main Street and a short drive to all the restaurants/entertainment at Barefoot Landing. It takes a little while to get to Broadway at the Beach, but with a 4 lane highway, it's not difficult.

If East Carter is "reserving" seats for their "school officials" then they need to be reserved on their own side of the court. Personally . . . I felt it was an intentional placement to restrict the seating available for the teams assigned to the visitors side of the court. IMO . . . at tournament time, you can show no favoritism to one team over the other and if you wish to reserve seating, then do it in your assigned section(s).

We'll be there supporting you at REGIONALS!!! :dancingpa :dancingpa :dancingpa :dancingpa Elliott started out very sluggish during the 1st half, but came back with a killer attitude after halftime to dispell any questions about their ability/capability! Somehow or another the 5 EC girls on the floor were able to come out victorious against the 8 on the WC side.

Monday night (6pm I believe). All district games are held at East Carter this year. I'll take Elliott by 6pts! EC hasn't lost a district game this year, so they've got a big target on their back. West is always tough competition but I believe the Elliott will pull together and pull out the win.

I guess if the game was attempted to be rescheduled, but one side chose not to try to work it out then a win-loss had to be assigned.
