Well i think we will see more of Ellis's passing this week, whenever any team play a quick secondary like holmes they are going to have INT's maybe not three like Ellis did but mistakes will happen. I think the tournovers will be on the top of the "fixing list" for Dayton this week and we will see that next friday

Well on the Dayton Holmes prediction thread we saw alot of this too. No one saw this win coming.

Young is a great player and I heard Early in the fourth quarter he had dislocated his "good" shoulder only to return two plays later.

Well i saw much of it, at 13-6 they had put in the back up "j.v." quarterback, running back, both defensive ends, linebacker, and saftey.

prediction=28-14 DAYTON. I don't think the score will be as high as predicted by some. I think both teams will come out "swinging for the fences" and going for it all but will soon find out that there wont be a lot of big plays. Both teams are going to have to put drives together and with that said, I give the win to Dayton, considering they bring more to the table with their offense.

I think Dayton was playing to win but also lookin into this week as well. The devils started "subing" in back-ups and replacements when the score was only 13-6. Still no excuse but just thought i would say something.

I saw the game and no cheap shots stick out in my mind, towards the end the younger guys where in and Dayton's F.S. intercepted a ball and ran out of bounds where he was hit late but besides that I don't recall any "cheap" shots

Dayton did do alot of squib kicks, and if Lickert plans on doing any of that this season i think the defense would have to stop the the run more. Against NCC they took away the "deep ball" pretty well,but stopping the run was a whole-nother ballgame

The score. It seemed like Holmes was "flat" comming out to the second half. In the first two quarters NCC caught some breaks and Holmes really didnt do to bad but as the opening kickoff of the second half showed with NCC returning it the Holmes own two yard line, Holmes seemed winded.

Ellis just has a bruised knee nothing serious at all just a little sore. He has been going full go in pracitce the coaches just thought he should set this one out.Chris Young which is most likely going to be Ellis's number one target this year dislocated his shoulder in practice. He is healthy now also i think he was at practice the next day so nothing serious there either. Tyler Lucaus the center had a operation on his foot. He is now released by his doctor and should be at practice monday. Any thoughts on Daytons linebackers i viewed some nice hits by the senior Keith Searcy that plays left guard and right inside linebacker Bottom line rookie qb's made mistakes. Ellis and Young would have made a huge difference
