  1. Congrats to the 'stangs" with the season high.
  2. Wow Dayton knocks off a #7 seed and out come the haters. Congrats to Dayton. Holding KY's leading rusher to only 103 yards. When going into this game averaged over 200 yards every Friday night.
  3. Not sure on this but wasnt it his left wrist?
  4. Miller didnt do much against Dayton if i can recall.
  5. None of them are under 200 lbs. Tackles are both an athletic 6'5 260. Guards are both about 5'10 5'11 225. The centers are a little small but have great form and get low. Two guys rotate at center both of them are about 5'9 200 lbs.
  6. Totally agree there!!!
  7. Holmes is getting better each week. I pick the Bulldogs in this one. Holmes 28 Scott 13
  8. I agree with this one. With Lynn Camps hard nose running and Daytons D we should see a great game. But i give Dayton the upper hand with getting to play at home and being un-defeated at "hells half acre" a.k.a. Davis field:fire:
  9. It should be interesting seeing the two different kinds of play colliding, LC being all power run football. With Dayton being a more spread speed football. which is better? IYO
  10. What's the size ratio of the two teams. I dont know alot about LC?, and so far i have heard nothing but good about the LC running backs. What kind of running is it LC do?, more of a speed offence or is power more of there thing?
  11. Even though defense was a big part in this one, i thought Dayton's passing game looked improved from week one till now.
  12. If it rains tonight it will only be lightly drizzled. I checked the forcast and it looks like great playing conditions for both styles of play.:ylsuper:
  13. Well last week there was only one int. and the Scott game there was none. The last two games the passing game has really been coming around, and i dont see any reason for it to stop this week.
  14. Rouse may be quick when he runs. But he dosent even compare to the speed that James Miller has for Holmes. Dayton shut him down and he carryed the ball 22 times
  15. Are you serious, yes Dayton has shown MANY SIGNS of having a great running game, look at both of their wins, both times the run was dominant on their oppenents D'.
  16. Wow ban-waggon, maybe some people are just fead up with the same old ----, and thats why the districts where changed.
  17. I can see where you would say that lookin at the size of the Bellevue front line but IMO i just think Dayton's line "meshes" better with the quick spread out offense they run. Bellevue jsut seems to have a big powerfull type of line but little quick backs. IMO Good observation Grizz O ya and i say Dayton by two Dayton= 27 Ludlow=14
  18. You "future coach" say that the thing Ludlow needs help on is D' well that is what Dayton does best is D', and with all the "running" stats i saw from Bellevue, and knowing that the Dayton running game is better than Bellevues i dont see Ludlow's D' stopping them.
  19. Well like you said future coach, Ludlow throws the deep ball but besides that passing game I dont see anything happening for them. So i see the Devils D' not allowing alot of points, and as far as the Dayton O' i think that their running game is good as seen in the Holmes and Scott games, and with Ellis coming off of his first 100 yard passing game "of the regular season" i think their passing game is starting to click.
  20. Well then all you are saying is that Ludlow is even less disciplined than i said they where. Your saying they made mistkes on short drives i was giving them the benifit of the doubt and saying they happend on long drives. But thanks anyways:thumb: And as far as that loss when the seniors where freshmen only two of them started that year....
  21. Wow someone must love Ludlow. Unless the Panthers have a 300 pound running back i dont see them running on Dayton. I know for a fact Holmes's backfield is much faster than Ludlow's and Scott's is bigger. i think the Panthers will try to pass and that will make them put LONG drives together, Bellevue made Ludlow put drives together and Ludlow couldnt do it. They made mistakes and gave the tigers the ball, and i think the Dayton D' is better than Bellevues
  22. Well i see Dayton beating Ludlow and Bellevue and ya ill give it to you traveling to Erlanger and playing the Juggs will be a big one but i see the Devils pulling it out. Dayton 9-1
  23. I really dont see where half of you people are getting these predictions from. Ludlow only has a passing game and that seams to be something Dayton has shut down this season, and who has Ludlow played besides Bellevue. Dayton playing at home will win.... Dayton=27 Ludlow=14
  24. I know we are gettin away from the thread but, i see dayton finishing the season 9-1 playing Ludlow in the first round and meeting back up with the tigers in the second
