I think GC will need a inside game to be complete team. Hampton, Baker and Williams needs to draw some attention to open up the three pointers.

I agree. GC AD Chris Alister and new Super are not in the Good ol' boys club. Alister passion is football no doubt.:fight:

Depends why the parents are making the decision to move their kid to the other school. I know of one that has move the kid three times to have a certain position on a high school sport team. :creepy: What are they teaching their kid if you don't get what you want you move. Greater things in life than to be the star on a HS sports team. IMO

I believe parents are making decisions about transferring not necessarily the kids in some cases.

Added to the list Josh Reed, Laiken Diller, Justin Ratliff going to Raceland all was in Mckell Middle school. Diller and Reed still reside in South Shore area.

Sometime before long the AD, Superint, & Principal will have some discussions about GC football program and have the program pointed in the right direction. GC AD Alister has a passion for Football. Alister was offer a Football staff position at Ashland high school three or four years ago that he ponder for a while. I'm sure GC football will have better days ahead.

GCHS has a new superintendent Hughes his first year at Greenup County. I say he will have some decisions to make after this football season. Alot disgruntled parents last year and seems to be quite of few this year. We just can't help ourselves from having something going on in GC sports.

Rose Colored Glasses are off! Score should be similar to when GC played Russell or Letcher County Central.

Greenup played their best game against Wheelersburg, I'm thinking they will continue to improve barring anymore injuries. GC by 10 over Rowan. Yea I have Rose colored glasses on.LOL

GC team needs to hit the weight room. Looks like they will easily be push around under the basket except for Newberry and Hampton. Rebounding was pitiful last year.

Burg is too quick for GC. Score should be similar to the first games that GC has played this season.

Matt been on the baseball diamond of late. He is playing on GC junior Legion team. :thumb: Maybe he make a late entry into football like Newberry did last year. LOL

Greenup had their chance with runners on first and third with no outs in the second due an error and miss played pop up. But GC could not exucute and came away empty handed. Big turning point in the game. I believe that Sheperd struck out the next two batters and LC threw out Greenslate going home after the throw down to second. Ouch!:sssh: Hats off to LC. The better team today.

Another question is Why isn't Matt Jones playing GC football? He another very capable quarterback. Competion for positons is always good for the team as the whole. Matt Jones was the Mckell 8grade Quarterback I think. :irked:
