If it was competitive don't you think either Martin or Dailey would have pitched . I don't recall anyone playing there normal positions for most of the game . Coach Whitaker doesn't even coach summer ball games.

Harrison beat Bourbon 13-3 last year with there 7th or 8th pitcher on the mound. Summerball.. seriously? Half of Harrisons player dont even play summerball and the other half use it to concentrate on different posistions or help with pitching. There is nothing serious about summerball except to help inexperience players get experience and to try and become a better player. It is not on a competitive level.

Who does Bourbon have that can pitch? I know of Jacoby, and Robertson. There is also another righty but I cant think of his name. Do you think these pitchers could get a win over Harrsion County?

Frankfort has a good young team. In a few years I think they will have a really good basketball team. Harrison played hard and came away with a win.

Instead of degrading on Harrison, shouldnt we be shocked that they have only been beaten by Mason by 8 both times they have played them. They have both been well fought games by both teams.

Harrison should of won the game. They led by 4 with 6 minutes to go. Turnovers and free throws hurt them while there defense kept them in the game until late when Mason pulled away with about two minutes left. The fieldhouse was very quiet at one time.

Harrison lost the first game to Mason by 8, with Middleton.

He said compete, not win the region.

Does Clark have anything returning?

Harrison has the talent trust me. There is not one player on the varsity roster that doesnt star in other sports. Harrison is a deadly team when they shoot the three ball well. Scott was Harrisons first game at home and were without one of there main leaders on the court. What does that have to do with the fact that you dont think they can compete in the region? I assure you that this team could compete with anyone in the region. They might not be able to beat everyone in the region but they can compete. If anyone thinks that playing Harrison is an easy game to win, then your crazy.

Josh Moss, Malcolm Thomas, Matthew Dye,and Jared Martin are juniors from Harrison County that people should watch out for. Sophomores Shane Fowler and Logan Daily are also great baseball players. Senior Eric Case may have the best glove in the 10th region at shortstop for the breds.

Rumor has it that Coach Reitz wants to retire from teaching but still continue to coach basketball.

I dont believe Issac will play baseball for the thorobreds this year as he looks to concentrate on football. Although he would be a consistent power hitter for the thorobreds if he would decide to play.

Harrison County freshman team won the freshman regional tournament at this age group.

Harrison returns seven starters from a state tournament appearance team. They also return two of their top three pitchers with great leadership in the infield and blazing speed in the outfield. This team should have no trouble winning to anyone in the 10th but I could see Montgomery upsetting them if anybody could.

Martin struggled shooting but was in foul trouble most of the game because he was given the matchup of guarding Middleton which he done a good job on until he got in foul trouble. I agree if Martin and Custard came to play today Harrison would of had a much better chance.

Harrison returns all but one posistion player. They did lose their ace but they also return two starters from last year that also won some valuble games. They should be a junior dominated team and fun to watch as they grow into some great ball players.

When Harrison is hot, they can hang with anyone in the region almost. But when Harrison is cold, it can be a long night. I will take Harrison by 12.

Workman and Hamilton are shooters without a doubt. The ball should be put in their hands alot more.

Harrison pushed the ball really well and got great shots. I believe Custard and Martin combined for 16 assist.
