mcraycraft Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 With the season getting into full swing, who are some of the top Juniors in the 10th Region this year?
afi100guy Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Brady Jolly is a very good one at Campbell County.
Bear4Life Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Dylan Hamilton-Bracken county. One of the top 3pt shooters in the region.
mcraycraft Posted January 22, 2009 Author Posted January 22, 2009 With the season getting into full swing, who are some of the top Juniors in the 10th Region this year? Is the 10th region not going to have any top seniors next year? I know GRC has a requirement that you must be a Sophomore to play , but I thought there were a few good juniors out there this year.
mcpapa Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Barner-Mason Co I don't know if he is one of the BEST juniors in the 10th; but he is LIGHT YEARS ahead of where he was last year.
grandpa1951 Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Daniel O'conner of Scott. Started last year, starting this year. Tall about 6'7 and is starting to play to his potential. Plenty of room for him to be a top player in the region next year.
Blueflyer Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Also Jake Niedderegger from Scott if he plays to his potential.
friedtaters Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Azery Crisp at Montgomery is a solid player that should be their leader next year.
breds balla Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Malcolm Thomas for Harrison county is apretty good all around player. A 3 sport athlete and good at all of them. He had 18 points and 12 rebounds against a great Mason county team. His only problem is consistancy. He's a streaky shooter, but always look to penetrate.
Tiger1 Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Also Jake Niedderegger from Scott if he plays to his potential. I think Jake has more overall talent than O'Conner does and might have a breakout year next year.
grandpa1951 Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 I think Jake has more overall talent than O'Conner does and might have a breakout year next year. Jake is maybe a D1 athlete. The kid is plainly and simply very athletic. He has a ok jumper, and is pretty good off the dribble. He just can not keep his mind in the game. Great kid!!

I know GRC has a requirement that you must be a Sophomore to play , but I thought there were a few good juniors out there this year. In the program at the 5/3 we had 19 players listed. 4 Seniors, 2 Juniors, and 13 Sophomores. Our Juniors are Ryan Blair and Christian Brewer, both coming off the bench. Both are good solid players and could start at many of the other 10th region schools. Just loaded in the Sophomore class. I have found that over the years some classes are just loaded across the state and other years not. Looks like this Junior class falls in the category of lower #'s .
