Agree Robertson would fair better against an athletic team like Paris over Brossart, they're not on Brossart's level when it comes to facing that defense and that style of offense even, few teams in the 10th are though. I don't see the Mustangs having any trouble in the 10th A this season.

That schedule is an embarrassment to a prestige program like Brossart's. Mason County seems every year to be going more and more into that direction as well. That being said, I think Brossart wins 10th All A easily and is top 5 10th region

Sorry Mustang, my post meant no disrespect, your always all good. It was more meant as a question, because I wasn't so sure of the records of Nicholas and Bracken at the time. Hope to get to Alexandria to catch that game if it is actually football weather, is it at Campbell Middle School?

Did Brossart's defensive coordinator pretty much put 8 up front and make Bracken beat them on the outside and thru the air? They really miss offensive weapons Appleman,Teegarden,Deaton, plus some valuable OL members from last season.

I think the Mustangs offense wins out Friday night in Alexandria to tie the Hounds' at 3-1, but doesn't Nicholas County have to beat Bracken County in Brooksville(which they won't) to set up the 3 win-1 loss three way tie scenario?

Looks like things are coming down to as I thought it would at the start of the season. Brossart vs. Paris for all the marbles, a must win for BB. A win would give them the title with the tie, right?

Head scratcher on this one. Probably the nicest Friday night this season to play football and two teams with nice offensive players come up with a score of 9-0. You would think it was played in a driving rain storm. Anyone with details on this one?

I think it was either last year or the year before, but Lofton was a monster coming out of the backfield. Did the Frey kid also play well last year and not playing this year?

Paris has to prove they can win a big game without Barber at home. If they lose this one, I don't know if they can beat Nicholas or Brossart either. I've got the Polar Bears 24-18

If Paris lost Barber, they are a shell of themselves, I thought Paris was missing some familiar names in the last couple of weeks of their stats, didn't know Barber had gotten injured. Bracken County with their improving defense and offense should win Friday at Paris, may come down to Bracken and Nicholas like it did a couple of years ago in the final game at Brooksville

Are Jaylen Lofton and Jeremiah Jones not playing football this year for Mason County? I thought I saw both on an early season roster. They would be big pieces to lose if they aren't playing this season. Seems like other names not on there as well that played in the past

I thought with returning players like Bezold,McDonald,Kramer,Orth,etc. that Brossart would be better than the 3rd place finish in district pre-season predictions of Cats Pause and others. I had them ranked a notch above Bracken and challenging Paris. Needless to say Nicholas has surprised as well, but also thought they was better than the 4th predicted. Seems like Paris has taken a step back as well(have they lost some players)

What has happened to Mason County football?

Just read that the one team PC beat(Gallatin County) got beat this past weekend by a team from Ohio that hadn't won a game in 5 years, so though a good win for BC after the Ludlow loss, by no means a stunner, even though PC, I believe is 3A

This was an absolute shock just going by the multiple posts on other threads saying that Fleming was really,really down this season, thought Mason would win this one.

Was told multiple starters for BC were at the Kentucky State Fair for FFA, can anyone confirm? Is there anyone from Bracken County or Ludlow that was at this game with details?

I would think by the beginning of the next school year that will all change.
