Didn’t catch this score last night....wow! I figured this would have been closer for sure. It sounds like the Panthers have picked up from where they were last year, if not gotten better.

 

I watched them a few times last season and was very impressed with Hathaway and Kramer. Blackburn got a lot of attention last year and many may have not been as aware of Hathaway and Kramer. They are both really good football players and they have developed more, meaning that they have improved from last year.

Hathaway was a senior last season.

My feeling is that the present day Ludlow Panthers have a bit of a chip on their shoulder and are tired of hearing about Justin Blackburn 24/7 for the past two seasons.

I think they are very anxious to establish an identity of their own, and let the rest of us know that their pride, tradition, and capabilities didn't walk down the aisle with Blackburn.

 

I've observed them at a pair of 7-7s earlier this summer, and are now witnessing what this group is capable of doing in live play.

 

It appears that it is business as usual in Ludlow, only with a different cast of characters, and that they are anxious to put Justin Blackburn in their rear view mirror.
