First game of district play in 1A District 5. Looking to be a great game down in Paris Friday!

Paris without Barber, I think Bears roll in this one

Paris will win this one. Everyone looks at Paris record and think they are down, they have played up in thier schedule with no cupcakes. Paris will be in the hunt for the district.

Based on Preseason rankings this was supposed to be the district championship game. I thin Paris is the favorite but it'll be a close game. I think Nicholas is on top of the district right now, with Paris, Bracken, Brossart tied for 2nd. I don't think there will be an outright District Champion this year. I think either Bracken or Paris will beat Nicholas

Paris, Berea, BB, and Nicholas have played district games Bracken hasnt played a district game yet. I agree it may come down to the point system to determine the Champion. So really there is no district leaders yet.

All in All in is a very competitive District. I dont think no one team is the heavly favorite year in and year out.

Paris has to prove they can win a big game without Barber at home. If they lose this one, I don't know if they can beat Nicholas or Brossart either. I've got the Polar Bears 24-18

Paris has played a very tough schedule.
