Any word on what to expect in this game? Not hearing much about the 14th region, which is my second favorite region.

Hoping for things to play out that the district foes play each other in the finals on Tuesday, as though 2 in their respective districts have really gone at each other all year. So: GRC vs. Paris or CC vs. Scott for it all

Seems like I had seen somewhere that PC had around 200 students more than Mason County, which even if they are less a little less or on par with Mason County was always shocking to me. Always thought or at least it seemed when I was younger that PC was in the Bracken County enrollment range, maybe a 100 or so more than them. I think a lot of outsiders think that with all the business's, the size of their gym,etc. that Mason County is this big school which it never has been. Back in the early state tournament appearances and even with Lofton and Miller, enrollment was probably less than what it was when that '13-'14 report was done

They were 16-13 that season. When have they had a losing season? I thought Hester may have had one

As an outsider, have always thought all of the Royals coaches over the years have done an outstanding job with that program, i think people forget that Mason County is a very small school compared to your GRC's,CC's and Scott, even PC's enrollment is way more. How was the crowd tonight Goldie?

The Bracken,Robertson and Mason contingent that are at The Fieldhouse year after year after year always makes up a little chunk(more sizable than you think) of any crowd because they never miss a game(there was more of that group than Paris and Scott combined last night), but to fill up the stage I just can't see GRC and especially CC to do that. Now if PC and MC would have been the undercard at 730 on Monday, they would have had to turn back hundreds I do believe. Do you remember what the crowd was like for Scott/CC last years final, was the stage full?

That was probably the best defensive game that I have seen Perkins play this season

I don't think it will come close to tonight. Does GRC and CC travel well? Pendleton's side of the gym was full to the top at 530. Can't see GRC and CC fans duplicating this

I think Pendleton County fans started lining up at the ticket booths while Mason County was in 4th period

Am really going to miss the Mason County band, adds so much to the environment. I don't know what GRC and CC have, but if they don't have someone on lead, bass and drums they can't hold a stick to Maco. Great to see the stage full for that first game as well. And know I'm in the minority but wish they would go back to split sessions, the ole back is a aching from having to arrive at 5 to get a seat I like and then am there more or less for 4 and a half hours. Don't see how older guys like mcpapa and others do it

Hoping for a PC-GRC or CC Final. Stage would be open for that one.

Without these two, unless someone unexpected like Brammar or Jones blows up from 3, this has the potential for a score along the lines of the Mason/Lewis game earlier in the year

I'm gonna go with PC having a shooting night like the last time they were in The Fieldhouse(15-3's) and beat Paris in a game similar in style to that game against Mason County. Wildcats by 8

And can't have Bracken and Mason in same bracket as well, just would have liked those particular matchups. No way they could have happened

Ideally I would have liked: GRC vs. HC CC vs. Paris PC vs. BC MC vs. Scott But like this draw,especially bottom half

I brought this up on another thread as to why Robertson County was the only school in that district to vote against seeding when they could easily be the top seed in that district the next 3 years( I mean they beat a 6A size football school by 20 for frosh region title). Was told by several posters that this decision to blind draw was made based on the best interests of the other team sports(baseball,softball volleyball,girls basketball,etc.). What say you?

Really hoped that BC smelled blood in the water after half with no big man( Perkins) and Lofton going out in the second half, but instead in the end it looked like they were content with beating St. Patrick and settling for the check for going to the Regional Tournament. Very disappointed in the margin of loss in this one.

If this game were anywhere in that district but Falmouth I would say PC by 7, but just have a feeling that PC will be looking to avenge last years first round district exit at the hands of the Breds and come out clicking on all cylinders in The Wood Shed PC 82 HC 61

Would assume those contracts were locked in place for this year to provide confidence and wins, but moving forward playing Silver Grove 3 times in one year and the likes of Walden,Beth Haven and Burgin and others does this young and talented squad no good except get wins. Would hope they would start home and away contracts with the likes of Scott,Brossart,Mason County,etc. They have a real nice facility over there with plenty of seating and shouldn't have trouble attracting those teams if that even matters
