The team that will be able to keep their emotions in check should win. Williamstown got the draw they wanted. It is now up to them with what they do with it. I'll go with the upset, and pick Williamstown by 3. They will learn how to win tonight.

You are probably right GF. It took a career night for Barnes in the first game and TC shooting over 50% from the field to beat them. The second game it took a season low 20% from the field from W'Town for them to win, so I a sure TC would have killed W'town on their home floor. Maybe that is why gallatin didn't re-schedule with W'town since the Lady Demons have beaten them twice this year. Don't be scared.

Had a chance to talk to Coach Wilhoit today. He had spent all day yesterday trying to get a fill in game tonight for his team. He even tried to get Gallatin Co. which was a cancellation from Thursday, but they declined also. I would have to agree with Cat24, playing a game vs practicing against your JV would be better for the teams. Both Gallatin and Trimble were conference seed games. Both would not have made a difference in who won the conference, but it could have made a difference in hoe many players get named to the all conference teams. He was more upset over that part of it. The school is planning on honoring the seniors (including Sr. cheerleaders) during their basketball awards night.

Trimble Co. at Williamstown on 2/22 cancelled. Trimble Co. did not want to make it up on 2/23. No Senior Night for the Lady Demons.

Do you have a scoring breakdown? Williamstown made a nice run in the second half to cut into the lead. Wilhoit and Stith seem to play pretty well from my viewpoint, but don't have any stats. Girdy and #35 played well for CC.

I couldn't believe they didn't call it. I know Coach Wilhoit was expecting it to be called and it should have been called. He was really upset at his senior for not telling the girl she was out of the game.

The great upset would be W'town beating SK!!! Actually, since SK has come into the district, W'town has given them the best game out of the 3 teams (GC, WV and W'town). Granted it was 2-3 years ago in the district, but quiet a few of the current Lady Demons played in that game as well as quite a few of SK's current players.

I knew Grant lost Gorby also, but Johnson has been filling in rather well. I don't think NO has a back-up as good as Johnson. Seeing both play, I think Grant has more talent. A lot will depend on if they come to play. They should be upbeat since they stayed away from SK in the district. BTW, How is Candace doing? I know it must be killing her not being able to play. What is the time table to return?

I'll be the homer and take Williamstown by 5. The Lady Demons have been in a shooting slump lately going up against some taller teams, but will match up better with Carroll Co. It should be a fun one to watch.

It will help that NO's best player is out with a ACL injury. Grant should win this one.

You got that right. She got her good looks and brains from her mother!!! Wilhoit should be able to go tonight. Eldridge will be back Thursday. Doctor is afraid if she comes back too quick, the cut could get opened up again.

Late in the game, Wilhoit and Eldridge for Williamstown were going for a rebound and hit heads. They both went down like Frazier. Pretty scary collision. Eldridge ended up getting cut above the eye requireing 6 stitches. More than likely, she'll be out for a couple of games. Wilhoit had a nasty bump on her head. I talked to her dad and he said there were no signs of a concussion. She had a pretty big headache though. She should be ready to go tonight. Congratulations to BC. They play very hard and physical. #31 was a load to deal with. Williamstown cut it to 6 in the 4th, but missed numerous shots in the paintafter that and went 0-5 at the line in one stretch. Can't win if you don't put the ball in the hole.

Walton has a couple of nice guards to go with Dixon. Doesn't the Cheeseman girl's dad coach Freshmen at Ryle. If that is the case, does she go to Ryle instead od WV? That would have to help out Ryle some.
