How many time-outs per game??

Featured Replies

I have been asking people and coaches and even Refs, no one can honestly answer the question without a little doubt. How many time-outs per half, 30 and Fulls????

You're definately asking the wrong people, coaches, and even refs then.

3 60 second timeouts and 2 30 second timeouts per game. But I am a ref so I should not know.

I wasn't knocking any coach or ref in my last post. Just alluding to the obvious, you get three fulls and two 30's per game. Shouldn't be much confusion about it, it's an easy one as rules go.:thumb:

   I'm just kidding Pat. It's hard to believe that the folks who should know the three full/two 30s rule better than anybody couldn't tell you. Maybe you were asking them while they were busy doing their jobs, and they didn't want to be distracted.

I was just picking about me being the ref and not knowing. It is in rule 5 I think sec 11 of the rule book. The sec. might be 12 but not sure.

If a coach doesn't know how many timeouts he gets per game and a ref doesn't know how many timeouts a team gets per game, they both need to get out of the game and find something else to do.

3 fulls, 2 30's PER GAME. You can use all in one half or none, it's the coach preferance.

Get a TO, baby!

That is what I was thinking.

It's about two time outs too many.

Get a TO, baby!

Is that a full or 30?

Might have to wait for a media time-out if I'm unsure of now many I get to start the game...
