I'll take Williamstown by 3. Williams can be a difference maker, but the Lady Demons are playing with confidence right now. It should be a good game.

If they don't play with heart against Williamstown, they could see themselves with a loss next week, but we'll discuss this next week. I'll take SK by 26 in this one. Stowers will have them ready for this game.

Hard fought game. Both teams play extremely hard. The Lady Demons were down 5 at half time, but outscored Henry Co. by 13 in the 3rd quarter. Teams played even in the 4th. They were led by Jaclyn Stith with 15. Tori Wilhoit and Chelsea West each scored 11. Congratulations to Coach WIlhoit and the team. They are off until next Monday. They will play at Owen Co. on Monday, Walton at home on Thursday and travel to Trimble on Saturday. It will be a challenging week for the team.

You are correct, she played very well for Grant Co. Also #14 Plunkett also played well for GC. I think GC will be fine once the players settle into their new roles due to the injury to Gorby. Good luck to them in the upcoming games.

Same coach. He complains almost as much as the Gallatin Co coach IMO. Still a nice gesture on his team's part. I am just glad his team overcame his shortcomings as a coach to pull out the win.

Final. Freshmen Tori Wilhoit and Chelsea West lead Williamstown with 18 and 13 points respectfully. Grant Co. did a nice defensive job on Jaclyn Stith, but the other players stepped up tonight. Nice win for the Lady Demons.

Until someone knocks them off, I would have to say you are correct. I'll go with GC by 8.

Actually Williamstown still has Grant and Walton left both at Williamstown. If they beat Grant and loss to Walton, it will be a coin toss. If they win both, they will be the 3 seed.

Henry makes teams play bad, especially there. Walton is the better team and should win by 15+, but you never know. It wouldn't surprise me if it is not a close game.

I think Gator is a hater. His 2 favorite teams are Gallatin Co. and whoever is playing WV!!!

Junior Guard Jaclyn Stith of Williamstown scored her 1000th point tonight in a 45-40 lose to North Oldham. Congratulations to Jaclyn. She may be the best kept secret in the 8th region.

I know we have gotten off of the intial post, but if schools don't focus on it and it is not a big deal, why play in it? Where it is not tied to the KHSAA, I am sure they can opt out playing in the tournament and play in a tournament with the bigger schools.

Congratulations to the Lady Raiders. They shot the ball very well tonight. #12 (Barnes?) hit some mid-range jumpers that came up big for Trimble County in the 3rd quarter. Exciting game to watch. Williamstown never gave up and made it interesting down the stretch. Hats off to the Lady Dmeons and their never say quit attitude.

Sorry to hear about her injury. She is an outstanding individual and will work hard to get back as soon as possible.

As a Williamstown fan, I would like to see 3 maybe 4 overtimes to decide the outcome (as long as the Lady Demons don't overlook Eminence) of the game.
