  1. Setty with 34 Gilbert hits 3 with 10 seconds to go that ending up being game winner.
  2. Watched the video on the site and they mentioned it had been 10 years since it had happened, dunk was missed, he hung on to the rim for a second and it shattered.
  3. Yep, top notch tournament. Scott County, Elliott County, Clark County just in recent years and it's been great to be able to follow their games online.
  4. If Clark County wins they will play for the consolation championship against Wheeler, GA tomorrow at 1:45. If they lose, they will not play tomorrow. Wheeler recently played in the Iolani Classic that both Mason County and Lexington Catholic took part in and finished 2-2. They lost in the 5th place game to Catholic by 9.
  5. 3rd place game of Gateway Classic at Montgomery County. Montgomery County jumped out to a 14 point first half lead and led 30-22 end of 1st half. Royals outscored Indians 18-6 in the 3rd quarter to take the lead going into 4th. Royals just two more road games before they will FINALLY play their home opener on January 8th.
  6. Consolation game at Beach Ball Classic in South Carolina. Clark County will play St. Rita from Illinois tomorrow at 5:15.
  7. I think in one of the recent BGP rankings, they weren't in the top 10. Their performance in Hawaii and now this tournament shows they probably should be top 5. It just seemed like they were flying under the radar, but it's fairly obvious now they have the talent and depth to play with and beat anybody in the state.
  8. Clark County leads 33-25 at half DARNIT! You beat me to it
  9. Thanks for the link, I knew they didn't broadcast consolation games, but I knew they did live stat updates. I just couldn't find it on their site for whatever reason.
  10. Only webcasts of winners bracket games, I'm looking to see if there is any radio broadcast. I do know that if Clark County wins they will play St. Rita from Illinois who just beat Father Henry Carr from Canada 66-55 in the other consolation game of the day.
  11. How in the heck did this not already get posted? Wow, Catholic has got themselves a darn good team. The Knights' defense was a grind on Elliott County, forcing 23 turnovers and converting them into 24 points. Elliott County star Timmy Knipp had 23 points, including 11 of 15 free throws. The 6-foot-8 senior, who has signed with Eastern Kentucky University, also had eight rebounds. "He's a great player and showed it out there," Salsman said. Only three other Elliott County players scored — Jacob Ison and Cody Nickell had 10 points each, and Logan Nickell had two. 12. Yep and what was funny is that I was over in Manchester watching them take on Peebles. Which by the way, Blake Justice hit 13 three pointers, tied for 3rd all time in one game in Ohio prep history, unbelievable performance. ANYHOO, Manchester wins the game, we are all heading home. My dad tells me, yeah, I saw Treg at the game talking to several people from Peebles. I was like ummm, that's impossible because I knew they were playing today. It didn't hit me for a few minutes that Mason County played an earlier game today. Treg would have been a senior at Peebles this year with Blake Justice, that would have been quite the team.
  13. The Rebels (5-6) jumped out to a 16-0 lead before Boyd’s Brandon Lowe scored down low and finished the and-one play. That’s all the damage the Lions could muster in the first quarter as the Rebels stopped roughly half of Boyd’s possessions in the backcourt using a stifling press. After taking the 20-3 lead in the first quarter, Eldridge decided to clear the bench nearly the rest of the way with every player seeing minutes 12 Rebels finding their way into the scorebook. http://new.thedailytimes.com/Sports_News/story/Rebels_cruise_past_Boyd_in_nightcap%2C_59-23_id_006271
  14. From Danny Weddle's blog... Katelyn Smith scored 19 points and Alicia Moore added 13 to lead the Mason County Lady Royals to a 55-45 win over the West Carter Lady Comets tonight in the semifinal round of the Queen of the Bluegrass Tournament at East Carter. Bailey Menke pulled down 11 rebounds. The Lady Royals will play in the championship game Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. against the East Carter Lady Raiders. http://courtsidewithdannyweddle.blogspot.com/
  15. West Jessamine is now 3-7 on the year, 5 of those losses have been by 4 points or less. The other two losses were by 7 and 10, tough group of kids. Congrats to the Royals on finally ending the darn losing streak. Should be a great game tomorrow against Madison Central, there will be a rematch at the Fieldhouse in just a couple weeks.
