  1. Just a wittle bit quicker than me  As for the game, last update I saw was 42-29 Eastern, late in 3rd quarter.
  2. Yeah, on Twitter it was put out there that even the Eastern band was having a hard time finding a place to sit. Pretty darn ridiculous, especially if people already paid for a ticket.
  3. Ashland will play Rowan County in the 16th Region championship game on Monday.
  4. If it's Augusta, yes, Clark wins going away. If it's Scott, the Cardinals have only beaten them by 6 points each game the last two years.
  5. J'town advances to Monday's 7th Region championship game.
  6. Cardinals will play Saturday night against the winner of Augusta/Scott
  7. Rowan led 17-12 at end of 1st quarter, but Lewis County only scored 2 points in the 2nd quarter, trailed 32-14 at half.
  8. Rowan advances to Monday's 16th Region championship game.
  9. Bullitt East will face PRP in 6th Region final on Monday.
  10. I see you just joined in December. You should go back last year and read the postgame thread in the 10th Championship game or you can go read the recent thread from a few weeks ago when the tournament dates and setup was announced. The fan cheering section has been a source of debate for over a year.
  11. He is moving VERY well. When he was introduced on senior night, I saw he was in his uniform and I figured that maybe he did that so he could at least warm up with the team. During warmups that night, he was cutting and looking really good, it was talked about on here how he got a standing ovation that night when he came in late in 1st quarter. He said before the Campbell game that his knee felt great and it shows in how he plays, I can imagine he is building more confidence each game playing with it. It's not about the points or rebounds he gets it, those are a nice bonus. You just see him constantly getting his hand on balls, great passer, etc. The forgotten aspect of Neal's return is that the Royals bench is now 8 or 9 deep, depending on Osborne's health.
  12. It shows in their games against Cov Cath, Ashland and Clark County. All three games were close in the 4th and could have gone either way, not having his leadership on the floor was a big difference. I'm not saying they win all three, but they win at least one or maybe even two of those with him playing.
  13. Yeah, I was really impressed with the crowd that Pendleton brought. I already made plans to get to the Fieldhouse a good 90 minutes before tip on Saturday.
  14. Thanks Sumo for the info, glad to see I wasn't losing my mind. I was keeping track and I knew it was his fifth, but when it was all said and done, it didn't matter.
  15. Had forgotten that Mason County beat Pendleton waaaay back in the 1st game of the year in December. They won that game by 25, but it doesn't take a genius to realize that Pendleton is playing a lot better right now and so are the Royals. Royals "should" win by 10 or more, thankfully the players are now well aware of the fight this team has and that won't quit under any circumstances.
  16. Had a front row seat courtside for this whopper of a game. Seemed like there was nearly 1,000 people there an hour before tip. Place was absolutely mobbed by the time we got to the 4th quarter. The explanation above makes more sense in regards to "foul-gate" just a bizzare situation and I can only imagine the outrage had MC went on to win the game. A nice touch by the PC fans when one of their players fouled out in OT and they were chanting "that's only 4" First time watching Prewitt play, nice player, but does he whine like that all the time? Seemed like everytime something went against him, he was complaining. Having only watched him once, I want to know from others.
  17. Anyone still have questions about how good this Mason County team is? Anyone? Yes, they are THAT good with Neal on the floor and I argue could easily be a top 15 team in the state. The prediction thread was just about 50/50 so I expect a lot of people to backtrack and say the Royals "should" win by a blowout since they are playing at home. Good, you keep thinking that and enjoy the games on Saturday. Suffocating defense, just a beautiful thing to watch. Royals were sporting blue "Murph" shirts when warming up. Not a great photo, but you get the idea. One down, two to go....
  18. I'm not sure who will call the Pendleton/Montgomery game, but it should also be on Soft 96.

  20. 11th Region 1st round Franklin came back from a 17 point 4th quarter deficit, took lead 72-71 with under a minute to go. Franklin County missed a three pointer with time winding down and after 2 free throw misses by Central, a desperation shot didn't go.
  21. 16th Region 1st round Knipp 30 On the Daily Independent's Twitter, they said that Knipp also had 13 blocks and 9 rebounds.
