1st round of Beach Ball Classic in South Carolina

 

 

Clark County will play in a consolation game tomorrow at 1:45 against North Myrtle Beach. They loss their 1st round game to Greater Atlanta Christian by 30.

GRC should easily win the game vs N. Myrtle Beach. The local teams are typically the weakest teams in the tournament.

I think the this Boys and Girls team is the #1 rated team in NYC. They have one kid going to Rutgers and another going to Fordham, and a junior who is drawing a lot of attention.

Nice showing by the Cards in a losing effort.

A game of runs. GRC had it back down to 6 with the ball late before another run by Boys & Girls stretched it back out. Neither team shot well.

Cards did play well. Turnovers were a killer, and B&G turned a bunch into points.

Hopefully the Cards win out in the consolation bracket.

Zollo kept GRC in this game. He had 20 points 10 rebounds. Too many tunrovers by the Cards. Bopper Stenzel is having a great tourney. Not scoring a lot, but handling the ball well against the great preasure defense of these teams. Cards are playing great defense, best of the teams I have seen played. Article in paper here today on the GRC fans and what great support we have down here. We have out rebounded both teams we have played.
