Ashland has a nice team led by Cory Gregg. They will have a tough time matching up with Male but I think they can pull out a victory.

Ashland led by 6-8 most of game but WC battled back and tied it at 61 early in 4th. WC also has a nice well coached team. Ashland hit their FTs in the end. Nobody on WC had an answer for Cory Gregg.

Did Rayburn guard him? Male might win, but I guess they might be a little out numbered tonight.

West Carter is rounding into shape. I expect they will continue to get better. Any specifics on how their players played last night?

I was really impressed with their hustle and ability to bounce back when the chips were down. They are quick and in your face and have a nice 6'4 kid who has nice post moves and goes hard. They didnt get a couple calls they should have late and Ashland capitalized by converting FT's.

 

Highlands will have to play a near perfect game to beat West Carter this afternoon.

If Rayburn is WC's big man then yes. He did about as good a job as you can but Gregg has very nice low post moves. He is tenacious on the court also.
