All I can say is the boys at Ashland are working hard and will continue to work. I honestly believe that with hard work, comes reward. I know the most talented team usually wins, but I can't count my boys out. Don't put those parachutes on our backs just yet. I believe we are still in the plane.

By May 15th the school is inform all extra curricular coaches/sponsors of their intensions.

With out a doubt. I mean where else will you get 20,000 people together to watch a high school basketball game. Especially if only about 5,000 or 6,000 are actual fans of the participating schools. Indiana used to get 30,000 plus in the late 80s and early 90s. I would be curious if they get that now.

At least the Euton part. I wonder where Jackson will end up? I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up there with him or even Bryan Station. They had an unbelieveable year. Who knows.

What's sad, our own local paper doesn't even have anything about him leaving. But a paper 3 hours away does some research and gets the story....

We are not notified ahead of time. In fact we didn't even know Matt won the Defensive Player Award. As for not attending, driving a hour in the hopes to win an award.. I don't know. Wasn't good enough to matter to me, so I can't speak from experience.

Money is money. If you have someone willing to pay to attend your school, camp, or any other place of business and you decide to turn them away. You're insane. You invite all and filter the garage out.

That is what everyone is speaking about, throughout the thread.

I know for a fact that Clay's job was in question for about a year. A friend of mine worked at the same place and was lucky enough to find an equal job across the river. As for him, who knows. But if he is an engineer, you ain't finding jobs around here. If the company moves to Lexington, then you go or take a HUGE pay cut. As for Dakotah, good luck. As for Jackson, why would he leave?

As for wanting Rowan over Montgomery Co. I believe it had something to do with family or area.

As for the KABC selection, its the region coaches. Assistants, head coaches, and I'm not sure of the others. But main just those two.

I'll go with GoRadio. They were consistent. Maybe consistently bad, but atleast consistent. They let each team completely beat the heck out of each other. If you stayed and watched the second game it got worse. As for the game. I couldn't more proud of a bunch of kids. They've practiced and played hard all year. I'm truly honored in saying that I've had this opportunity with them for the last several months, and for the seniors years. But hey, the Sun is shining. Which is always nice.

Now that's funny! But you're right. We should send out thank you cards to GCHS. I believe that they should be the regional favorite year in, year out based on the population that they have to draw from. Aren't they the largest school in the area? They are the only school district to have two middle schools which should allow for 30 players instead of the 15 that most are able to dress.

Don't look for anyone to "run" us down. The way we have conditioned the whole year, they won't get tired.
