Where did you read talent has nothing to do with it? The point is, Trinity is an awesome program, and a large, large part of that is coaching. If you combined all the Boone county schools into one team, they would certainly have plenty of talent to choose from, but they don't have the coaching.

Yeah, I've read it all, I posted in most of them. You're grasping at straws. What is so outlandish about those? A couple of fans supporting their team. Yeah, their predictions were bold, but why wouldn't you want your team to think they had a chance? Do you expect fans of every NKY 6A school to come in here and worship at the alter of Trinity every time they draw them in the playoffs? I'm not a Boone County supporter, and I don't expect them to win, but I would love it if they did.

For having such an elite program and the confidence to go along with it you Trinity fans seem to get overly sensitive about one or two posts. You've managed to reference two posts from an enormous thread nearly a year old to make case that "it's always the same thing." Everyone knows Trinity is good and they are going to most probably trounce Boone, but heaven forbid Boone fans express a little confidence in their team. And don't go holding up one poster's opinion and acting like he speaks for everyone. One person made a fairly wild prediction but most non-T fans would agree that Vince is an incredible athlete.

What's funny about this is someone said this exact thing in the Ryle/Trinity thread that CentreRocks keeps alluding too, and nearly every Trinity fan had an brain aneurism over it like it was some sort of slight to Trinity. Now a T fan says it and they get a pass.

Great game to watch. I thought Ryle was going to win it at the end. They were up 17-14 in the 4th and seemed to have the momentum but Boone played great. I'm glad it was an exciting game. Congratulations to both teams.

I certainly hope it is as exciting as the last one! Not sure if Ryle can pull it out at Boone, but with big time rivals meeting in the playoffs anything can happen.

What a great game, but what a heart breaker. There probably isn't a feeling much worse than punching in a TD in OT only to see a flag. Congrats to both teams.

Both teams are solid and playing well. I don't see a huge advantage on one side or the other. Considering that it is a huge rivalry game, I see no way to pick a winner. It's going to be fun to watch!
