Bennett and Barker are the only starters they lose out of the starting line up. They also lose an occasional starter and a pitcher that was out most of the year. GRC was young this year compared to years past. They started two seniors, 2 juniors, 2 sophomores, 2 freshman, and an 8th grader most games. I agree, Harrison will be the clear cut favorite again. They were this year and GRC had them down in the bottom of the 7th, so anything can happen.:thumb:

I agree with your post. Middleton will be the leader and will have to have some of the younger players to step up and help for them to have a great season, but the talent is there. I think this team may struggle abit at the beginning of the year and by seasons end they will be good to go.As always Mason Co. will be there in the end, with a shot at the 10th region. I don't agree with this at all. Heard of Robert Hatton? I feel these players are just about equal talent wise. Both have the ability to take over games and lead in clutch situations. And GRC has the better overall talent so no way Mason is head and shoulders favorite.... but this isn't the thread for that. If Mason gets other players to step up and contribute, they will be right in the mix of things come post season.:thumb:

Not sure. I do know that the family has bought a house and are waiting for it to be ready. They should be all moved in the next month and then I'd say he will be enrolled by then if he's not already. I don't know the specific rules on enrolling so I have no clue.

I don't have much of a problem with this. On paper it appears GRC has more talent coming back especially with the addition of Zollo but Mason Co. is still the champs as of now. This is exactly what happened in 07 when GRC actually did win it. They had to beat the defending champ, and did. I look for the same this upcoming year.It's always exciting though...can't wait. :thumb: By the end of the year I think it'll look like this... 1.GRC 2.Mason 3.Campbell The rest a crapshoot with Montgomery, Scott and Brossart leading the pack.

I believe they play Elliot Co. somewhere in that mix too but not for certain.

That sounds about right. GRC beat Perry Co. Central by 10 and then lost to North Hardin by 5 without Stenzel playing. If they would have beaten North Hardin they would of played Scott Co. The Semis and Finals are today and should be going on right now.

They played J town without Ryan Williams and Zollo and lost by like 9 if what I was told is correct. That's not too bad. They did get pounded by Franklin Co. but they couldn't miss and GRC had to be gassed with 5 or so games in 2 days.

Mainly talking about their game at Lex Catholic but they didn't have Botkin. They beat them there by about 15. I had just heard they beat them again at Central, didn't know the score.

I haven't posted any rankings in this thread, but if I was to I would base them on the overall talent the teams have coming back plus any new talent the team would have this year. The summer games give you some idea, but like you said, many things could alter the outcome of summer games.(missing players, 5 games in 2 days, etc.)

You can't base it on summer games I know, but GRC has played Lex Cath. twice this summer and beaten them handily.

I'lll just say that Euton will be playing there for sure, but I have a feeling Jackson will be too.

LABS has posted some remarks by that family as well about the athletics. I guarantee you that they will be playing at Scott Co. next season.

I will go on record and WRITE IT DOWN and say Jackson, Euton will be playing at Scott Co. next season. Zollo will be doing the same at GRC.

What got Euton I think is his dads comments. Not the commuting, that doesn't even make sense.

Now that I can't answer... who knows what the KHSAA will think, say or do. :lol: I just hope KHSAA doesn't try and do too much on these transfers and ruin a lot of familys lives in the process.:thumb:

He didn't visit Scott Co. or Dunbar, I'm pretty sure about that. The reason I think this is different is because they didn't say they moved to GRC to better themselves for basketball. They said they wanted to move into the area because it is closer to Lexington and UK. :thumb:

Why would it? They have went about it the right way unlike some people.:thumb: Wishful thinking though, for some. I have a feeling the Eutons will get this reversed though.

Heard that Franklin Co. couldn't miss against GRC. Like you said, both teams were missing players and it was their 5th game in 2 days so I wouldn't put much stock into it. There were some good games this weekend. Franklin Co. will be tough. They will atleast be top 20 but probably better than that.:thumb:
