Two great clubs, both have used their ace. Lex Cath will be the favorite but don't sleep on the Dawgs. They have had good pitching from their top 4 guys all year long and haven't given up a lot of runs.

I used to coach football at Lex Cath and now am at Lawrence Co. I'm so bummed because we are flying to Colorado tomorrow and I"m going to miss the game. I have a 4 year old and 1 year old flying for the first time so momma would shoot me if I tried to get out of it:lol:

Best of luck to both teams. Go Dawgs!!!

After all is said and done, Harrison Co. may have beaten Lexington Catholic after all.

Champa is not eligible to pitch tomorrow and Nick Maronde is finished for the tournament ( I believe???).

Interesting that Champa was taken out in the fourth inning, after allowing no hits.

The younger Maronde will now be called on tomorrow, I would assume, with Champa coming back for the finals if they make it that far.

Everything looks fine to me with the exception of the ERAs. How in the world can EVERY player have an ERA under 1.0? That's hard to believe for everyone with the exception of Nick Maronde and Michael Champa. If this is all true then their defense isn't as strong as I've heard it was.

The decimal point was in the wrong place...

I think Lawrence County should be the favorite in this one. Lex Cath has used their top 2 pitchers against Harrison Co. If I was Coach Keaton, I would start Cyrus against Lex Catholic and save Michael for PRP. If Lawrence County can get a solid performance from Cyrus, they could have a chance at a state championship. Lets go Dawgs, get them bats going against the Knights.
