I'm sure the sportswriter from Casey Co. Ky. is imminently qualified to report on what it takes to win a State Championship. Maybe 66-19 was not convincing enough. Newsflash......Mercer has a passing game. If you would like to see it, all you have to do is one simple thing....stop the run.

Does North Oldham play at their school or do they play off campus?

Mercer is in trouble if a game comes down to an extra point or heaven forbid a field goal. However, their kick return and punt return looks to be dangerous.

Are these next years classifications? How are these schools classified this year?

Handle things internally. Don't air your problems. This compounds a simple effort problem into a players vs. coaches problem..IMHO

You do know that Mason's coach (David Buchanon) is a Mercer grad don't you? (You just can't get away from them......) :D :D Mason should be peaking next year and have a first rate program much like Russells. Should be a SUPER game.

I never thought of it quite that way, but that is what happened in last years Mercer/Newport meeting. This year however was slightly different. Mercer scored on 2 clock eating drives, 1 big pass play, and broke a big one for 40 something yards. Three distinctly different ways to score 4 TD's. I thought both defenses overshadowed both offenses.

I would love to see the Mason game.

Not to oversimplify this but... Football games are most often won by putting the best 11 on the field, and putting them in their best positions. The best players should get their hands on the football as much as possible. The best coaches handle the off the field matters that inevitably arise to make this happen. I without a doubt believe Boyle has the players, but are they in the right positions to win?
