What does JC's schedule look like?

I think a lot of Paintsville success will depend on who comes out for football. Last year there were at least 3 or 4 kids that could have started for them that did not play, if these kids come out it could make things interesting. Pikeville is the best team and should go undefeated in district play.

Paintsville is a young team that only lost 3 or 4 players to graduation. Pugh and Sublett will be hard to replace with both being 4 year starters. Paintsville needs to get more kids involved with their football program, they onlt dressed about 22 to 25 when they were healthy last year.

Who will be replacing some of the graduation seniors?

Paintsville seems to be playing better this year than the last couple of years, but there are 3 or 4 teams that have a good chance of winning the 15th.

Here are some Stats from the Ashland Daily First Downs Ashland 11 JC 13 Rushes Yards Ashland 44 carries for 99 yards JC 40 carries for 139 yards Passes Ashland 9 comp. 20 att. JC 4 comp. 14 att. Passing Yards Ashland 161 JC 141 Fumbles Ashland 8 lost 2 JC 2 lost 2 Total Yards Ashland 279 JC 280 JC fumbled twice in their own end of the field and Ashland scored 2 TD's on short drives from these fumbles. From these stats I would say it was a hard fought game by both teams. You may have seen this as a good old butt kicking, but I guess you watched the game through those rose colored glasses. I'm sorry I meant maroon colored glasses.

I hope that Russell wins and Belfry beats Middleboro, I would love to see another another rematch with Russell and Belfry.

On a side note, all the JC fans would like to congratulate Coach Matney and his wife on the birth of their first child that was born around 3 pm today. :dancingpa

I'm not going to debate the PA announcer and music played at the game I personally think it's great. I agree that Grim is a special player. The O-line and blocking backs have done a tremendous job all season, but I also think that JC has two or three other backs that could run for over 100 yards a game, but if you want to believe that JC is one dimensional then please go right ahead. :thumb:

Sorry about the previous post. I was suprised with the outcome of the first game with P'burg winning in OT. I also thought that Sheldon Clark would come out and play inspired ball tonight. P'burg proved tonight that they are the better team. Good Luck to the BlackCats
