Another good tournament Estill went to last year was the Johnson Central tournament. It was about a week before Christmas, there were some decent teams down there (Lee Co., Johson Central, Bracken Co., Hart Co.)

Who all will be coming to Irvine to watch the game?

Sadly enough a lot of kids are like that, always injured if it's not one thing it's another.

Anybody remember Josh Gross? Now I know his numbers don't sound as good as Clark's but I played against them both and Gross seemed like the better running back to me. I haven't seen Thomas play, but I'd take Gross over Clark.

We went to Daytona Beach last year, it was a great trip, good teams in it too.

Congleton never really done much against us last year in baseball, but from what i hear he is a stud. I agree sixtyfeetsix watch out for congleton, he's a tough basketball player too. Lee did lose a lot, but if Estill is to have a good year in the next 5 years this should be it.

How about the Estill County vs. Jackson City game where Estill scored 31 in the 4th quarter to win by 5. Did anyone see that game?

Good Point. That about says it all.

That is a tough loss for Jackson City, but Estill lost 3 starters including Clinton Dixon and 2 boys that usually come off the bench early.

Lee Co. was a tough team last year, and if they can find someone to replace Rich then i see Lee winning both games. I understand you can't just REPLACE Tyler Rich but find someone who will get in there and bang, and go up for the boards, that should do the trick.

Estill has a lot of problems with kids quitting football at the beginning or somewhere throughout high school. We always have a lot of kids out in middle school and they usually make it through that, but when they move down to the high school, they just start disappearing.

Has Fleming Co. found a solid replacement for Fritz yet?

NO i didn't mean any humor i was just letting bball observer decided for himself, i know the players for estill county i was one over the last few years going through the same thing, and I respect everyone of them they're my brothers.

What's happened with Montgomery County? What's sparked the improvement? Are they for real or is Madison Central down?
