I still remember back in 2007 for the NKY all-star game when they literally "dumped" dirt on the field and attempted to spread it out. No water, no tamping, no nothing. Just plain dirt was dumped on the field. Players were having to dig out the batters box just to get a stable surface to stand on. Even then it appeared they were climbing a hill to get out of the box too when they managed to get a hit :lol:.

Scott is the team to watch out for in this region. They are becoming a dangerous team.

If Scott wins, it will mean that Campbell will get the #3 seed in the district and the #1 seed will be determined when Scott/Brossart play later on this year. If Campbell wins, it will set up for an interesting finish as a Scott win over Brossart could set up a 3-way tie for 1st (Brossart beat Campbell earlier this year).

Harrison will be the best in the region again as they have plenty of experience and the regions best player in Jordan Martin. Scott has plenty of experience as they return 7 of last years starters. Jordan Pike might not be able to pitch this year but their pitching staff is still solid with junior Ray Everett leading the way. Brossart is still going to be good with Tanner Norton, the regions best hitter. I expect the region to be competitive as always.

You can count on one thing, Krumps will be playing his beloved small ball again with this team. It has worked with every team he's coached and it probably will this year too.

Highlands is in the top 3. They have plenty of experience returning this year as well as a lot of underclass talent learning from them.

Scott's field has improved dramatically since Trame has become head coach. You all should come out to a Scott game and see it this year.
