Harrison will be the best in the region again as they have plenty of experience and the regions best player in Jordan Martin.

Scott has plenty of experience as they return 7 of last years starters. Jordan Pike might not be able to pitch this year but their pitching staff is still solid with junior Ray Everett leading the way.

Brossart is still going to be good with Tanner Norton, the regions best hitter.

I expect the region to be competitive as always.

Harrison county has to be the favorite based on experience on the mound and having the best player in the region in Jordan Martin. Look for him and Brandon Kendall to be dominant as a great 1,2 combo on the mound.

If Montgomery county can get Hobie Hall to stay healthy and Ben Gulley and have spencer tabor on the mound that's a great combo. With Montgomery county's bats they would be my favorite.

All the teams mention above could win the region. There is no favorite in this group. Montgomery has 7 starters coming back and A new kid that transfer in from Morehead thats a catcher with a great bat. They have above average pitching with Hall, Gully,Tabor, Nester and Lee. I dont know who will play First base for them yet because Tanner Combs won't be back. They have about 3 boys that can play that position well. They have their starting 2nd,SS,3rd basemen back with all the outfield. Montgomery has a new coach that will be playing one of the hardest scheduled that they have ever played. They should be ready at the end of the year.

Anybody in the region signed to play college baseball other then Norton and Lee? I know that Jordan Martin has several D1 looks and Brandon Kendall has had a lot of interest from NAIA and junior colleges.

Brendan Wells from Scott has committed to Asbury. Pete Ohmer and Kyle Kramer from Scott are waiting to commit later in the year. Isn't the front runner for Martin WKU?

Pretty sure Ohmer has already signed. The school eludes me.

Are you sure? If he did sign, it would have been with Asbury.

If he didn't sign he verbally committed.

I have heard that WKU is at the top of his list along with some others. He seems to be taking it very patient in making his decision. I am really looking forward to see where him and Brandon Kendall end up.

Just talked to Pete Ohmer. He he told me he has not signed or committed, still evaluating options.

Don't forget Brossart returns Nate Verst also. If I'm not mistaken he was one of their top pitcher's, if not their top pitcher last year.

Scott will have a good year with a lot of senior talent; Pike, Robinson, Ohmer, Krammer, Best.

Harrison will be a power house with Martin and Kendall as a great duo, always bringing up fresh new talent as well.

Brossart will be good, but not the same as last year, Norton a top notch hitter and Verst the ace.

Montgomery will be good as well.

Bourbon gained a good player in Charby Pobe but with the loss of Chase Mullins, they will not be what they have been the last few years.

Campbell will be middle of the pack with the possibility of sneaking to the top.

Pendleton County finished with a good record but lost 5 starters. Down on pitching returning Daugherty and Brown.

Nicholas still will have their Ace JD Wagner.

I really don't think Robinson is all that great. From what I have seen, as a hitter that's the kind of pitcher I want to face. Just throws them in there. I may be wrong but that's just what little I have seen.
