I'm guessing you are a Bracken County Fan. Scott was the first game of the year. Brossart is a good team. That's like saying UK can't win the SEC because they have losses to LSU, Auburn and Tennessee.

I don't know how someone can rank Walton Verona over many teams on this list. Nothing against the school or the program, I know many people from there, but their athletics have plummeted the past 3 or 4 years. As for Campbell County, I think they are one of the best teams in the area with Cov Cath and Holmes. Should be a fun year and I am ready to see some action on the court.

I see SK winning the district. They lost a few good players but also return a core. Walton is having a down year in all of their sports, baseball will be a down as well. They graduated a lot. Young team, look for the next couple years to be on the up side.

Just because a kid is a 7th grader shouldn't mean anything. If he has more talent than an upper classmen then let him on the team? Sports are about competitiveness, not being on a team because your mom and dad sell hot dogs for the team. High school sports are too political anymore. Glad to hear there is a coach still running a program the way it should be. No disrespect to any coach out there that does give in to the peer pressure and politics, but maybe take note...

Like you said a streak is good at anytime. Especially for a confidence boost going into the post season. Looking at their schedule they play a tough last two weeks. GRC, Scott, Campbell, Bourbon, Mason and Lewis. In the 10th Region this year there are only 3 teams above .500. Montgomery, Bourbon and Harrison.

Close game through 4. Harrison scores 5 runs off of 2 HR. Pendleton went with a unique line-up, changing pitchers every inning. Take away two hits and this game could go either way.

Scott will be the best team in the 10th. Harrison has a strong offense and two great pitchers but the defense struggles

From what i saw last season, low 80's, good control, good curve. Heard he was 7-2 including a 9 inning win at Pulaski. He beat nicholas in the regular season but didn't start on the mound in disticts. He played for bluegrass.

I believe that the pitching match up will be good between Wagner and Daugherty.

Nicholas does have a good pitcher in Wagner but Pendletons pitching staff looksdecent this year
