A questionable call by the umpire leads to Ryle's 6th run. Scott gets a runner in a pickle between third and home but the umpire rules the runner safe as the catcher tried to apply the tag. It appeared he may have ran out of the baseline as he tried to avoid the catcher's tag and went on to score.

Through 3 innings, Ryle leads Scott 5-0. Ryle has 5 runs on 4 hits with no errors. Scott has 0 runs on 1 hit with 4 errors.

Scott finally gets their first hit of the ball game but it comes with 2 out.

A wild pitch now makes the score 5-0 in favor of the raiders but Scott finally ends the inning right after. Despite solid play up to this point, Scott just hasn't had much focus and the numerous errors are the result.

A 4th error now by Scott has lead to another run. 4-0 Raiders.

Ryle up early on the Eagles 3-0 in the top half of the 3rd. 3 errors by Scott early have lead to 2 unearned runs. The Raiders are threatening again this inning.

Definitely disheartening on one side but quite the opposite feeling on the other. I didn't get to the game until the 4th inning because of work but from what I learned when I had talked to some of the other was that Birds had gunned two Scott runners at the plate before I got there and then I watched them gun another at home plate in the 7th. Some very good throws from the outfield tonight on the Birds side of things.

Scott beats Holy Cross 7-3. They take on the winner of Highlands/Holmes tomorrow. Game time and location are still TBA at this point.

Scott's a good team, just very young. 6 of their regular starters are juniors and sophomores.

Are you sure on this? I talked to Coach Trame and thats what he told me.

Great game by both teams. The game went into extra innings as Scott won in the 8th off a walk-off homerun.
