How did the Birds do today?

Somerset beat Harrison County 6-4 yesterday at Harrison County and plays Clay County on Thursday.

How did the Birds do today?

HHS won 3-2. Nice effort by the Birds. Birds had seven players pitch one inning each. Lots of contributions by players from all four classes. I'm biased, but I believe the future is bright.

Jones (FR), Vermeil (SO), Allen (SO), Lester (JR), Bausch (SR) & Murray (JR) pitched. I may have missed the 7th pitcher.

Big hit by Brady Murray (FR) to bring in 2.

Clay Co. a scrimmage or a game?

Clay Co. a scrimmage or a game?

I think it's a scrimmage. Don't you get two? Truthfully I've been out of town the last. 10 days, everything could have changed.

7th P (not in that order) was Jake Liggett.

Yep, you get two. Its crazy this year with some teams already playing games and some still doing their scrimmages.

Ryle scheduled to scrimmage Bishop Brossart at Ryle's field this coming Saturday, March 17. I believe game time is 1:00.
