Scott could have won but a fly ball fell in short left field which allowed the tieing run to score with 2 outs in the 7th

Jordan Martin was dominant on the mound for the breds tonight. I'm not sure how many strike outs he had but it was a bunch. Great showing from Scott high!

I would put Scott behing Harrison and Brossart in the region, IMO

He threw 7 innings and had to work pretty hard in the last few. With the strikeouts he had, I'd say he threw in the neighborhood of 110-120 pitches. Way too many this early in the season in a pretty meaningless game.

I don't think Scott hits well enough to beat Harrison. Not enough balls put in play..they only hit a couple of balls into the outfield. Really, though, I expected more out of Harrison. Great pitching, but they didn't look great defensively, which will hurt them against better teams.

Martin threw 111 pitches and the pitch count was based solely on how his arm felt. If Scott can't beat Harrison when they play that poorly I wouldn't expect them to beat them any other time.

Must have a rubber arm and if he had to throw that many pitches to beat a team that can't hit the ball that would tell me they don't have anybody else to finish.

Xavier carter relieved Martin in the 8th and struck out the side. He has plenty of help.

Why would the coach have him throw so many pitches this early when it means nothing if you have that to close the deal, hope that kid holds up under that coach

No game is meaningless. I can tell you don't know much about Harrison County baseball.
