No game is meaningless. I can tell you don't know much about Harrison County baseball.

 

I get that you want to win every game. But really, the way the season is structured this game means nothing in the standings. Martin is a stud. A coach from Eastern was at the game, and even he remarked he was surprised that Martin pitched as long as he did. Major league pitchers aren't even throwing 110+ pitches at this stage even with extensive spring training. Maybe he can handle it. But this kid is obviously going to pitch at the next level....why jeopardize that by overusing him??

Your right don't know alot about HC baseball but that is somebodies ego getting in the way of what's best for the kids future, if he continues that pace he might have one good year of college.

Scott will beat Harrison when it counts wait and see.

Same old story year after year! As a wise fan from Harrison County said many years ago at the Regional Tournament in Campbell County, "Welcome to the 10th Region Scott High!".

Just got the details on the game and it sounds like scott had mental E's again so I don't think it was a hit a thon by harrison missed fly balls, walks, and a wild pitch to end the game wow just how many hits did you have?

Errors, walks and wild pitches are all a part of the game of baseball.

Some people will say anything to justify a loss.

 

Harrison County was just better and won the game. Regardless of how many hits, errors, walks, wild pitches or what have you, you have to score to win and Harrison did to the tune of 10-0.

 

You may say the region is weak, but if you've been around the 10th region long enough, you learn to never count out Harrison Co. in any situation because the kids there put their heart and soul into the program and Coach Whitaker is able to get everything out of his players for the team.

I can count on one hand the number of times someone had said this about a Mac Whitaker coached team in his 30+ years of coaching. Just sayin'.

Im just saying if this is the way teams in the 10th region are and they win because of other teams mistakes it must be a weak region. I hope you win the region so we can see what you do against better competition.
