  1. Whose Noone? Is that Raceland's fullback?
  2. Nice article about JC linebackers seniors Michael Tackett and Blake Johnson. See link below. http://www.dailyindependent.com/localsports/local_story_318225535.html
  3. Paris needed a later start time for the game so their school buses could complete the afternoon school routes and then return to the school and transport players to Raceland. NCC requested the earlier game time so they could return home at a more reasonable hour. Either NCC has made other arrangements to transport their players via private coaches or they don’t need their school buses for afternoon school routes. Since NCC is a private school it’s quite possible that they do not bus their students to and from school because they live in too many varied locations. See the link below concerning charter bus service to the game for NCC students and fans. http://www.ncchs.com/
  4. Danville Somerset Metcalfe Raceland
  5. The game is at Somerset...check the tournament flow chart for game sites. http://scoreboard.12dt.com/scoreboard/bluegrasspreps/kyfb6?id=tournament_70001
  6. I listened to the webcast of the NCC/Bwood game last night and the NCC kicker (soccer player) had a great night, but he can't tackle as they relieved him of his kickoff duties after Bwood returned opening kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown. On one play, I think it was a 47-yard field goal attempt; the attempt was short and landed on the 3 yd line and sucked back to the 7 yd line. None of the players knew what to do so a Bwood lineman fell on the ball. Bwood took posession on the seven...not a bad way to punt. I don't know if this was a planned play or not. Just a heads up to the Rams on this play.....I think if Bwood had a return man back they could have made a decent return instead of getting the ball on their own seven. There's a thread on BGP discussing this kicking strategy.
  7. Interesting play, I heard this on the webcast....the ball didn't go into the end zone because of backspin. Announcers said ball hit on the 3 yd. line and sucked back to the 7 yd line. None of the players knew what to do, so a Bwood lineman fell on the ball.
  8. Great game Rams! :dancingpa Here's some links to the latest news articles on the game: http://www.dailyindependent.com/localsports/local_story_315005701.html http://www.kentucky.com/mld/kentucky/sports/high_school/15986635.htm

  11. Beechwood takes opening kickoff to the house. NCC answers with long touchdown pass. B'wood-7 NCC-7
  12. If NCC beats B'Wood then Raceland or LCA gets another home game:D
  13. Not sure, but not having their regular holder might have something to do with it.
  14. NCC 41 HC 7 4:00 left in 4th quarter
  15. Thanks for the updates O.R. sounds like a tough game.
  16. NCC 27 HC 7 7:17 left minutes in 4th quarter
  17. Are you referring to the Homer Goins glory days or the Randy Reese glory days? Homer Goins was a gem…none better. Reese was pretty good too. Reese is the only coach to take two different schools to the Class “A” state title (Ludlow 1975, Paris 1981 and 1982). As for the option, I think Goins ran the Veer when he was at Paris. Paris is a class act, they will strap on their helmets and be competitive come Friday night. I know they’re not coming down to Raceland just for the ride….
  18. Well done Rams! BF
  19. Nice job O.R.:thumb: ...what's the field and weather like? BF
