  7. You are correct Oldrambler. I'm not sure what "muddy" game Ram is posting about but the games you described occured in the fall of 1975. Raceland had to play three games in one week and their season ended when they were defeated in the playoffs by eventual Class "A" State Champs Ludlow. Ludlow was led by running back/kicker Jim Lokesak. Ludlow defeated Heath 7-6 for the State Class "A" title.
  8. I know they had a 7 on 7 scheduled this week at Greenup County but I don't have any details.

  10. That's pretty much how it stands except Tyler will be at baseball practice Monday........Also the family advised me that Russell's Coach Dodd called the hospital and checked on Tyler. :thumb: BF
  11. I concur with Incognito, it is a concussion :creepy: plus aches and pains associated with the fall (back,neck). The game sounded like a warm-up for this fall's football game.:fight: BF

  17. I’d like to give props to the Raceland players and coaches for a FANtasic season. Also a special thanks to Oldrambler and Cvillecat for “keeping house” on the threads and to Sporting News Radio AM 1080 for webcasting most games. This was a special season that has forged many friendships (on and off the field) for years to come.:thumb: BF

  22. Here's my email to Grant: Grant Raceland Football has 16 district titles to their credit: 1975,77,79,80,82,84,86,87,88,90,92,95,96,98,2002 and 2006. The first District title was 1975 when the Rams lost to the eventual Class A State Champs Ludlow. Thanks for your support. XXXXX
