I recieved an update on Raceland's Tyler Boyles earlier this afternoon from an individual that is close to the situation and I trust his info on this.

 

Tyler came home from the hospital this afternoon. He did suffer a concussion. There was a little bleeding on the brain built had stopped and Dr.'s thought that he would be fine. Tyler was just still a little sore (of course) and will have to stay away from any sports and activity for a couple of weeks. This could had been a lot worse and I for one am thankful that it wasn't. Prayers from here in that Tyler has no more complications from this and will be fine.

I'm glad the kid is going to be ok, heard it was a tough fall he took. Have a speedy recovery Tyler.

That's pretty much how it stands except Tyler will be at baseball practice Monday........Also the family advised me that Russell's Coach Dodd called the hospital and checked on Tyler. :thumb:

An absolutely fine young man and we wish him a speedy recovery. Russell coach showed great class and compassion by making that call and we wish Vanhoose all the best also. It is terrible for such talented young men to have these injuries. Best to both
