Rams played TEAM ball and took down the Lions. Players of the game were Ferguson (Elliott) and Phillips (Raceland). Phillips had a double double with 12 points and 13 boards. Raceland hit the glass hard tonight and shot the ball well. Elliott ,IMO, really misses Weddington's reounding and inside presence. If the 3 is not falling, Elliott is beatable. Way to go RAMS.:dancingpa

Statmaster is correct, Elliott really misses Weddington. Ferguson is great player and is clearly Elliott's best. However, the only way he gets the ball is to rebound it or steal it. It was obvious to me that certian players don't want to pass him the ball. I noticed that when he received his award for being the player of the game that one of his high profile teammates went to the walked off the floor and went to the lockerroom prematurely.

 

Holbrook was outstanding for Raceland and Johnson is proving to be an excellent coach.

What I witnessed tonight was far beyound jealousy. Walking off the floor when a teammate wins and aware and refuse to acknowledge it is unbelievable. All Mayes does is hold down a chair. He has no control over the players.

Excellent win for the Rams. Seems the TEAM chemistry that carried the football team is carrying over onto the hardwood. Great game plan by Coach Johnson and great execution by the Rams.

Raceland played very hard defense and shot the ball well. Elliott, however, shot really poorly, not only from beyond the arc, but from the free throw line and everywhere else.

This was a great win for the Rams :flame: . A real confidence booster going into the EKC tourney game vs. Russell. Congrats to coach Johnson and staff and to the Ram players.
