Great win for the Rams. We hope to see you in a few weeks! Good luck in the playoffs.

Congrats to the Ramblers on a huge win over the arch rival Eagles.:ylsuper: :ylsuper: After the Raceland coaches made obvious adsjustments to the passing game that Fairview opened their offense with a nice drive down the field, the Rams shut down the Eagles offense all together in dominating the game. Grizzle had 3td passes - I believe which would bring him to 23 on the year. Beach ran, caught a pass and returned an int. for td's. J.T. Forrrest has a great defensive game as did all the Rams "D", intercepting multiple Fairview passes and returning 2 for td's! :jump: Raceland turnovers and mistakes in the first half kept them from scoring a couple of more times. Once again the "orange crush" defense and special teams for the Rams stepped up BIG! :flame: I also would like to compliment the Raceland crowd once again......both radio crews commented on how the Raceland crowd FAR outnumbered the Fairview crowd. Way to go Rams all the way around!!:dancingpa Now lets get ready for a GOOD Paris team coming into Ram Stadium for senior night next week and lets lock down a home playoff game.:thumb: Rams are 8-1 and rolling!

Congratulations Rams!:thumb:

Rams dominate. They came out and played smash mouth football.

Old Rambler did a good job describing mainly the offense maybe you could add a few words on the defense.

Not to bruise any feelings of Raceland fans, but can we count on this bunch of Rams to make a post-season run? I know they always had to play northern Kentucky teams in the playoffs before, but a quick look at the records shows that they have only won four (4) playoff games in their history, even while fielding some pretty solid teams. Can we expect that to change this year?

The Rams defensive game was the most physical game I have watched a Ram football team play. When the Eagle WR or RB made the plays they paid the price with a vicious hit by the D. It was a total team effort. The Eagles were able to move the ball & had more first downs than Raceland but when it came time to make a play, the Clint Thompson & J.T. Forrest duo along with the rest of the "Orange Crush" stepped up to take control. The hard hitting defense along with the special teams play was the difference in the game. The one thing that bothers me is the mental mistakes & penalties. Rams have to be a little more disciplined. Mistakes & penalties in a playoff game will beat you.

Rams had 4 interceptions (2 for TD's) & 3 blocked punts. This group of kids really work well together and are very focused on their goals.

IMO the Game Ball goes to the Raceland coaches. The game plan worked to perfection.

This is a really good question and one I have been asking myself. IMO this years Ram team is one of the best ever. They can beat you with their offense, defensive or special teams and have one of the best coaching staffs in high school football.

Will the Rams make a run in the playoffs? I do not know, that will be determined on the field. I can guarantee you that they will give a total effort and are very dedicated to turn this season into one that makes history. The State Championship has been their goal since last years playoff loss and all the marbles are in place to make that happen. They are taking it one game at a time in workman like fashion. As a former Ram and life long fan I certainly hope their dream becomes a reality and I believe they have a legitimate chance at doing so.

Congratulations to Raceland – I’m sure it was a sweet win over a cross-town rival. Good luck the rest of the way. I hope you go deep in the playoffs.

I’m sure Fairview will bounce back and see better days ahead. :thumb:

Thanks for the support Graybeard.:thumb:

Good win for the Rams. As Old Rambler would say, it was just good ole smashmouth, slobberknockin' football by the Ram's.
