I bet Old Ramber had fun listening to wlgc with the rams up big.

Did anyone notice the officials? I saw them on TV last night and I didn't reconize the crew. I know they were not from around here. Does anyone know where they were from? Did they do a good job?

I'll try and be careful here so as not to violate any rules. I believe they came from the Lexington area due to a shortage of refs in our area. I also believe this may have been one of thier 1st games officiating. All I'll say is in my MANY years of watching football at all levels I have never seen anything like what i saw last night.

Do you believe this Rams team is good enough to win a state championship? Do you think they can compete with the top notch teams in 1A? I'm asking an honest question. I really don't know because I've only got to see them once at Ashland. I really hope they can or at least make a long run and get the "Northern KY teams" monkey off their back. They have one of the best coaching staffs in the entire state in any class and I know they continue to teach until the final horn sounds. I just want to hear what Rams fans think.

As I said in an earlier post, this is the best Rams team that I have watched. They can beat you many different ways.

There are many things that factor in winning a state title and I think that this team has many of those positive factors already in place. Can they win it all ? I do not know that answer but I do feel that they have the talent to compete. We will just have to take one game at a time & strap on the pads and see where they end up. As I said earlier they do have a legit shot at the whole package and if they do not win a state title I guarantee it will not be because of lack of effort. To believe any other way would be a disservice to the kids!!

The Radio guys stated the offcials were from Lexington. I agree on your statement, it was definately diferent. It took a total of 90 minutes to play the first half according to the report by the local paper. They did seem to become more comfortable as the game went on. It's a tough job as an official and one that I would not want.

Fairview blitzing bigtime last night Grizzle was handling it real well DIDMYHEARTGOOOD Raceland Offense is so balanced beat you passing running wow \. You next year a good % of the seniors are going to go to the next level

The radio crew on 1080am mentioned that they found out that they were out of Lexington and this was the first game that any of them had ever worked.

A couple of times they seemed to be a little, shall I say "confused".

Just a little.:D

And after what I saw, I can certainly believe that.

I had on a radio headset also and turned it off in the 2nd quarter as did many others .

Typical. I don't listen to them except their post game show if I really need a good laugh.

Great win for the Rams! They are right where they need to be at this point in the season. The offense was able to move the ball at will all night. If not for 2 first quarter fumbles, the Rams would probably have scored 30+ points by half time. Grizzle stayed poised all night and found his go to guys in Mullins, Beach, and Boyles. He really showed why he is one of the top QB's in KY last night. The "ORANGE CRUSH" was hitting as hard as ever! Mullins was punishing people from the free safety spot. As was Thompson, Forrest, Rogers, and Caldwell. In my opinion the Raceland defense could be the best "D" this area has seen in the past 10 years. There is no doubt in my mind that the Rams can make it all the way to Louisville! Keep it going RAMS! Get focusd for a battle with Paris this friday.

BTW it was nice to see senior cornerback Tyler Chambers back in the lineup last night. He has been out the past 3 weeks with a hamstring injury. He is a big asset to the Rams run stopping defense. Chambers presses the line and stops the run just as well as any corner in area. Hopefully he will remain healthy through the playoffs.

Chambers is also a great threat on the kickoff team. He has the speed to get downfield and doesn't care to put a big hit on anybody in his way.
