I really hope they can or at least make a long run and get the "Northern KY teams" monkey off their back. They have one of the best coaching staffs in the entire state in any class and I know they continue to teach until the final horn sounds. I just want to hear what Rams fans think.

I just couldn't stomach Hobbs and Robinson any more:rolleyes: , they are pathetic smartdonkeys! The next time I might tell you how I really feel about them. :lol: :thumb:

 

You need to quit your crying about the WLGC crew. I listened to the game and they did a good job. This is not about radio crews. They acted like they were back in the first grade with some of the chants they were saying about the Fairview team as they were talking after the game. While the radio crew may have not been negative this past Friday they have been known to do so in previous games. I am sure that is what Oldrambler is referring to. His post is his opinion and more than likely shared by many. As for the radio crew being better than any other that have carried our games that is your opinion. The Cheerleader remark is a little personal to make against high school (KIDS) don't you think? As you stated this thread is not about the radio crew it is about Raceland/Fairview. Both teams displayed great sportsmanship in their post game hand shake and the coaches from both teams complimented each other in a professional manner so I think that everyone is as you say, (Getting Along)!!

Noit just vs. Raceland I have heard them when Faiview is playing other schools. When they don't call a h.s. kid out by name when a negative play is made, they do call out their number, that should not be on h.s. kids. I have heard them put down the opposing teams fans and coaches on different occaisions. They are imo NO class jerks that think they are "the kings of broadcasting" or something. Outside of Fairview I belive that most fans around the area an dnot just Raceland see them as a joke. As for your comments aboiut the Raceland cheerleaders I belive those comments from you crosses the lines on bgp about talking about a h.s. kid. You have your opinion and I have mine. I will not change my opinion of your radio crew. I do however think that you should not talk about a bunch of h.s. kids as you did about the cheerleader. would suggest that you get a life and do not trash h.s. kids on here! You made the statement that "it is about the kids" and then turn around and slam negative comments on a bunch of cheerleaders! I think that says enough. Even though what I said was true I should have kept my comments to myself. Kids will be kids and sometimes they do not realize what they are saying offends other people. BGP can reprimand me if they want and I will take my punishment. Even though I am a Eagle fan I honestly do wish the Ramblers the best of luck and hope they will go all the way to Papa John's.

As for the radio crews I am going to keep my comments away from this site because apprently you do not know anything about broadcasting. This radio crew thing is gettng out of hand and as for me it is a dead issue and let's root for the Rams to go a long way!!!!!!!!

There is no crying here tubby, just stating my opinion. I did hear a couple of negative comments about ther kids last night but not as I have heard in the past. Instead of calling a player out by name on a negative play towards that player they call out the number and critisize that way. You say "it is all about the kids" and then in the same post you call a bunch of h.s. kids "donkeys" :irked: (your reference to the Raceland cheerleaders). At no time have I ever cut down or critisized a h.s. athlete or any other kid for that matter. I belive that your comments on these kids crosses the lines by bgp about talking about a h.s. kid. If that makes you feel better, so be it I guess. I just had to give my opinion on your post and say that I was giving my opinions on "adults" and what I thought about their broadcast. I will say and give :thumb: to coach Tackett on the comments that I heard that he made about the Raceland team and program on his post game show. You are correct that I didn't go to the game Friday night tubby and here is the reason. You see, I am severely disabled and cannot get around w/o the help of a cane/walker and sometimes wheelchair. I know that you didn't know that but I would hope that you might take possibilities like this into consideration in the future before you try and call someone else out when you don't know the person or the story behind it. Tubby I have heard the WLGC crew before and they are a bias couple. As for Hobbs he probably has less class than anyone in the state that does H.S. broadcast. He has always been a very negative person about anyone but Fairview. Mr. Hobbs needs to either get a life or quit broadcasting( IMO). As for you talking about the cheerleaders, you need a little class yourself, but you can't expect any thing better out of a "Fair"view fan.

I do not approved of taunting a team however this happens on both sides if i remember correctly when Fairview came down to our field last year they came in arms locked chanting the entire way up the field whose house our house. Its football good or bad and the girls are paying for their mistake. Now lets get back to football. I would hate to mention the job WLGC did two years ago when parents had to call the radio station for a week complaining how they named names and had opinions about everyone one of the kids. i even remember one comment being, "With all the money Raceland has you would think they could afford jerseys that you could see the numbers."

You are right about one thing Coach Tackett did show alot of class and alot of people have a great amount of respect for him. I would have hoped that everyone would have showed the class our coaches did.
