Josh is scheduled to pitch Friday night at PRP aganist Owensboro Catholic, I believe.

The metal bat ban was strictly for safety. There have been numerous deaths related to the speed that the ball leaves the metal bat and strikes a pitcher or infielder. Took a lot of guts to pass this law, rumor Gov of New York will veto the bill. Have to wait and see.

I think is suppose to rain, that would be good. Arms need a day of rest.

Popham will not be playing due to baseball. Had to commit 2 weeks ago and Shane hopes CCH Baseball will still be playing. Don't know about Blesser.

After having seen HHS play twice this year aganist CCH, I think their coach deserves a pat on the back. They are playing much better baseball and can no longer be taken lightly. But I am sure they didn't need a pep talk since they were playing the Colonels. Still, they are playing much better.

There were a few but the big hits were Popham's 370+ to center, Blesser's 360+ to left, Larkin's shot to right center for a double.

Great game to watch - class act by two quality teams and coaches. Would love to see that game played at the same location with 25 degree warmer weather. Hats off to both teams.

From someone who was there the final was 25-0. My guess is that the score was reported less to save face for East Ridge. Very nice people, talked to several before and after the game. Players were also first rate kids and well mannered.

I hope it will be as exciting as the 1st meeting. That was fun to watch. LOL

I agree, it is a good place to start for a program that is heading in the right direction. Good Luck, very impressed with the program when we were there in November.

My son Shane Popham attended the camp last June in Dayton, Ohio and it was a big help to him. they adjusted some minor things with his foot work and it paid big during the high school season this past year. If your son is looking at a speical college, he should try to attend their kicking camp. We learned that too late last year. I would have to give the Ray Guy camp a gold star. Good luck

Beechwood hands down, at least at Silver Grove you don't have to break an ankle to get to the field.
