CovCath pitchers combine for a three hitter:

 

Covington Catholic improved its record to 2-1 at the Tates Creek Spring Break Tournament with a 12-0 victory over East Ridge on Tuesday as senior right-handers Alex Smith and Kiernan Pauley combined on a three-hitter. Pauley pitched two hitless innings of relief.

 

Senior left fielder Skyler Stein's run-scoring single made it 2-0 during CovCath's five-run second inning. Stein added an RBI double in the Colonels' seven-run second.

 

CovCath next game is Thursday April 5th at 5pm against..... Ft. Thomas Highlands at CovCath.......

I am pretty sure that the score of this game was 25-0, from someone who was there.

From someone who was there the final was 25-0. My guess is that the score was reported less to save face for East Ridge. Very nice people, talked to several before and after the game. Players were also first rate kids and well mannered.
