Mason (Ohio) 11 CovCath 3

Featured Replies

Before anyone from NKy starts to rag on CovCath for the lose today, you just might want to read Yappi, and see that Mason (Ohio) is a team that a lot of folks are talking about in winning the big school division state baseball championship.

Southwest Ohio representatives:

DI-Moeller #2, Mason #4, Springboro#5, Elder #9, Lakota West #10

DII-Turpin #3, Badin #9, Ross#12

So two of the four CovCath losese have come against Ohio teams and their 4th ranked team in Division 1 and the 9th best team in Division II and for those who don't know, Mason is a school of around 2200 students.

CovCath was just overmatched today playing the best team that I have seen this year play. Mason has zero holes in their lineup, and looked like a team that just might win the Ohio State Baseball Championship.

Not much to report, it was just that type of game.... :scared: :scared:

Curtin followed by Wehry and then Reis.

I think is suppose to rain, that would be good. Arms need a day of rest.

DD, they need it to rain, so they can get a day or two off. With the LIT coming up this weekend, (O-Cath, Danville and Ballard all in the top ten), they need the rest.

On a good note, Zack Isler threw a simulated ball game today (2/3 innings) on the CovCath sidelines, and from what I was told, felt fine afterward. Isler is coming off Tommy John surgery. Houlihan was allowed to start long tossing yesterday, and he threw for about five minutes. When both of these fine pitchers come back in two to three weeks, it will make CovCath pitching even stronger.....

CovCath play Scott (Kenton) at Scott, but with the weather forecast it doesn't look good., and for once I welcome rain.

Wasn't trying to predict the weather, just trying to cheer you up Old Guy.

The CCH boys will be fine, but your right, they could use the rest.

This is a big weekend for CCH...

Shouldn't Blesser be ready? He pitched Saturday.

He pitched 7 innings on Saturday so, I think, Wednesday is the first day can pitch again.

So could I, needing the rest that is.....

Theoldguy is down and out for today and tommorrow. Went to Dr. this afternoon and she is worried about this cough that I have had for the last week or two. Was told to stay home in bed, and the boss is making sure of it.

I'd just hold him off to the weekend unless he could've gotten some simulated innings today...
